Eddie Brock's POV:
I was walking up to my local store to get some milk. Why? Because I ran out of it of course.
When I arrived, I suddenly saw this guy in a red hoodie run out. They then put out their arms and swung away before even my brain could react.
Who were they?
I looked in the store and saw three guys with their hands and legs tied up in some kind of strong material.
"What the hell happened here?" I said out loud.
"Yeah," I heard the cashier say. "I'm still trying to process that."
I thought about the hooded guy.
"Was it related with a guy in a red hoodie?" I asked.
She just nodded slowly.
"Okay," I said.
I grabbed my milk, paid for it, and left.
Well that last part would've been true if there wasn't a police standing in front of the door.
"Sir, we're going to have to question you about the incident that happened in this store," he said.
"Well okay." I said.
Man, all I wanted was some milk to last my month.
"Name and age?"
"Eddie Brock. 34 Years."
"Were you in the store when the incident happened?"
"No. I just arrived when someone in a hood left."
The police raised his eyebrow. "What did they look like?"
I thought about what I saw. Come to think of it. I didn't really see their face.
"I don't know. I think their face was covered?" I said hoping they'd leave me alone sooner or later.
"Sir."
Another policeman walked out of the store.
"What is it?" The officer questioning me asked.
"The witness inside stated that a hooded vigilante by the name of Spiderman came in and tied up the robbers."
Spiderman ey?
"Thank you," the officer turned to me after his little chat. "You can go now. That bottle of milk won't last long if it stays out here in the sun."
I nodded, "Thank you," and then walked back to my apartment.
Who was this Spiderman? I thought to myself.
Although I couldn't really think properly since my front door neighbor is playing music really loudly.
I just sighed and opened my door.
I opened up my computer and looked up the spider guy.
No results. They must be a new guy.
I wondered if they were a part of the Avengers.
Nah. They probably would have announced them if so.
I just shrugged and continued my day.
Peter's POV:
I looked up at the building wall in front of me.
I wonder...
I put my hand on the wall. I then put my other hand higher than the other.
Here goes nothing.
I attempted to climb the wall. I succeeded.
"Awesome!" I said aloud.
I climbed to the top of the building.
First I get a manly body, then I am able to sense danger. Now I can climb walls.
That spider biting me was the best thing to happen. Maybe not the part when it bit me. But the effects it gave me were amazing.
Wish I could thank that spider.
"Excuse me?"
I turned to see a woman staring at me.
"What are you doing on the roof young man?" She said,
"Uhh..." I responded. "Sightseeing?"
The woman smiled. "I understand. I love the view from here."
I took a look. It really did look beautiful.
Suddenly, the weird sense I got from earlier appeared again. I checked around.
Nothing, until the door behind us burst open.
"Hands up where I can see them!" A guy said.
The woman I was talking to put her hands up.
"Hey you freak!"
Rude.
"What's with the mask?" The man said.
I stayed silent.
"I'll just take it off." A guy beside him said.
He walked up to me and attempted to take my mask off. I grabbed his arm.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I said.
"What are you gonna do pipsqueak?" He laughed.
I webbed his mouth. And then his hands.
"What the-"
I also webbed his partner as well.
"Well well well. Looks like you two have gotten yourself into a pickle. Would be a shame if the police came over." I said.
"No no please!" One of them panicked.
"Beg all you want. Because nothing is going to stop me from calling them." The woman said, grabbing out her phone.
Hah. I like this lady.
"By the way," she said to me. "Thank you young man."
"You're welcome." I smiled.
Mainly because she was calling me a man. It feels so good to have someone use your correct pronouns without telling them.
I checked my phone.
Messages: Aunt May:
Where are you? Dinner is ready!
"Gotta go now," I said before swinging away.
That reminded me that I also had to take off my binder sooner or later.
I arrived home. I took off my costume before skipping downstairs.
"There you are Peter. I checked your room and you disappeared." Aunt May said.
"Yeah, sorry about that Aunt," I apologized.
May sighed. "Just be careful okay? I don't want you to end up like Ben."
"Don't worry. I will," I said.
Aunt May looked up at me.
"Be careful, I mean." I added.
"I hope so," She said.
