I think the sun and the moon are in love.
And that thought breaks my heart.
Because of how heartbreaking it must be to be in love.
when you are destined to be apart.
It must be painful to be in love and to be in longing
For the one, you love but cannot be around or touch,
To only be able to witness each other in the same sky every once in a while,
However, to always vanish from another when the time comes,
Continuing the harsh circle of never being together
However, there is a ray of hope in the form of the eclipse.
And on the day of the solar eclipse, the moon and the sun
Share one long kiss.
conveying all their longing in their few hours of bliss.
Before they go back to the original routine.
The moon always rotating, and the sun always waiting.
