The next day during lunch, we decided to use an online spinner wheel to determine our seats at the dining table.

That was fun. I was sitting on a side chair in between Jay and Skylor and across from Kai.
During the middle of lunch, I saw Nya nudge Kai. "Kai, now," she said.
I saw Kai immediately turn red and shake his head vigorously.
Nya raised an eyebrow. "Kai, come on!"
"No," Kai said silently.
"Guys, Kai wants to tell you something!" Nya shouted, turning to us.
"No, I don't!" Kai screamed, shaking his head and looking glumly at Nya. "What will they think of me?" he whispered to her.
"Kai," Nya said firmly. "You know they won't judge you."
"Whatever it is, Kai, you can tell us," I said, nodding for effect.
"Yeah, Kai," agreed Cole.
Kai glanced at Nya and then looked at the rest of us shyly. He took a deep breath.
"Alright. So, I'm Bi," he said. We all gasped at the same time, except for Nya.
"Wait, what?" Cole exclaimed, standing up.
"Y-yeah," said Kai. "That's why I've been acting weird lately. I'm sorry if that creeped you out."
"Nah, don't apologize! That's totally fine," said Skylor, and she smiled at Kai and he smiled back.
"Wait...what does Bi mean?" asked Harumi, confused. I was surprised she didn't know.
"It means he likes girls and boys," I explained, and Harumi nodded in understanding.
Suddenly Nya started giggling, which I found kinda cute, and I couldn't help but smile.
"There's something else he wants to say!" she said, smirking at Kai. "Should I say it?" she asked her brother.
Kai nodded.
"HE WANTS TO TELL YOU HE HAS FOUR CRUSHES!" Nya exclaimed.
We all gasped again. "WHAT?!?!" Skylor yelled. "Four?!"
"Yeah," replied Nya, "Skylor, Lloyd, Cole, and Jay!"
"What?!" gasped me, Cole, and Jay at the same time. The three of us blushed.
"Why?" I asked, laughing.
"He thinks Cole is funny, he thinks Lloyd is adorable, and he thinks Jay is cute. And he likes Skylor the most, then Lloyd, Cole, and Jay. Romantically!!" Nya exclaimed.
That's when Kai started laughing hysterically, and suddenly Nya was too, and soon all of us were laughing so hard we almost fell over in our chairs.
And that's when I realized I kind of liked Kai too...
