3rd Person POV
A few days later, Nya found Lloyd standing in the balcony as it rained. He didn't care about getting wet; the rain poured hard down on the cement floor.
Lloyd loved the rain. It was peaceful and beautiful. While most people hated rainy days and felt grateful for the sun, the dark skies and thunder and lightning energized Lloyd.
"Lloyd? What're you doing up here?" Nya asked, standing beside him. She instantly got drenched.
"Oh, nothing. I--I just think..." he started. Then he shook his head. "I'd be bragging if I say this."
"You can tell me anything," Nya assured him. "I'm your best friend."
"I know, but--" and then he paused and sighed. "Fine."
"I kind of feel like I'm...I--I dunno, special."
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean, I feel different than other people."
"They don't call you The Chosen One for nothing," Nya smiled.
"Not because I'm the green ninja! Something else," Lloyd mumbled.
"That's not what I meant. I mean...you ARE special. You're the grandson of the First Spinjitsu Master. You've faced a lot of pain. But now you're happy. Happier than you've ever been. You're blissful, but still full of angst." Nya explained.
"That...that's exactly how I feel," Lloyd gasped, surprised.
Nya shrugged. "What can I say? I'm relatable!" and she blushed a bit.
"Anyway, I guess I'll see you later." Lloyd said, and he began to walk away.
"Wait!" Nya called after him. Lloyd turned around.
"Didn't you want to stay in the rain?" Nya shouted over the thunder.
"Oh, yeah, I did," Lloyd replied. "But I wanna spend some time with Harumi."
"Why don't you call her up here?" Nya suggested. "And I'll call Jay. It'll be a romantic double date!"
"Sure," Lloyd replied, blushing furiously at the thought of Harumi. Nya smiled at this and went to call Jay and Harumi.
I know this chapter is short, but that's because I'm writing a Kailor chapter after this and that'll be a little angsty. IDK when I'll post it because I'll be starting a new book now, kind of a Lloya book (not a romantic Lloya version, like a best-friends-journey book thingy). It's about OCD and depression, and the moral is that when times are tough you should know it's okay to reach out for help. The book might be called by either of these names:
