Luke's POV
Ring. I wake to my phone ringing, I already know who it is. "What" I whisper "it's my day off" "well killers don't care about our personal life" Michael says. "Why are you whispering?" He asks "I'm at violets, she's sleeping" I say "oh I see, you slept with her" he says " "yes, why is that all you think about" " I don't know, but hurry up, we need to leave for Mississippi" "ok bye". I get up and get dressed. I leave a note for violet, I feel bad for leaving after last night but she'll understand.
Violets POV
I wake up to notice Luke is gone, he must have gotten called into work. I go into the bathroom were I see a note from Luke explaining everything. I decide to call him. "Hi violet" he says "hey babe, I got your note" " yeah sorry I didn't want to wake you" "thanks, um your birthday is in 5 days. Do you think you will be home by then?" I ask "I think so, but I'm not sure. I'll try and keep you up to date" he says "ok, be safe" " I will, I love you, uh I mean, uh" he stutters "Luke" "yeah "I love you too" I say "ok bye".
