Today was Luke's birthday, I hope he'll be home. Then my phone goes off
L- hey babe should be home tonight by 5, hoping to miss the storm :)
V- ok , I'll make dinner, see you soon :)

Luke and I have only been dating for a little bit, I don't really know what he likes to eat so I'll just have to wing it. I decide to make him fettichini alfredo with garlic bread for dinner. While everything's cooking I wrap his gift, a new watch.
Luke's POV
" Hey Luke, the weathers bad and we can't fly, you should call violet" Kylie says to me. Great I probably won't be home tonight, violets going to hate me. I call her but she dosnt answer so I leave a voicemail. "Hey babe it's me, the weather has been getting worse so we can't fly, I don't know when I'll be home. I know you probably made me a really good diner and I hate not being there. Sorry, I'll see you when I get home".
Violets POV
It's 6:30 we're is Luke. I go to check my phone but it's dead, so now I have to charge it. When I plug it into the wall the power goes out. "Seriously" I say. I hate the weather. I light some candles so I can see and continue to wait for Luke. By 8 I figure the rain won't be getting better so I clean up and put the food in the fridge. By 11 I'm just to tired I can't keep my eyes open any longer...
Luke's POV
It's midnight, I am so dead. I pull out my key and enter violets apartment. I notice her asleep on the couch and a gift beside her. I'll open my gift tommmorow with violet but I really need some sleep.
