*Third person POV*

Flashbacks of everything that had happened with Chae-Yeong hit Soobin all at once, making him shake his head violently. 

"I'm not losing Beomgyu's trust again."

"But Beomgyu knows it'll be an act, right Beomgyu?" Sun asked, looking at the other boy.

Beomgyu nodded. "I trust you, Soobin. You once told me that you wouldn't make the same mistake twice, and I believe it. And I don't want to lose you yet, so I'm willing to agree if you are. I know it'll be super weird for you so I understand if you don't want to."

Soobin sighed. "It's not that I'm uncomfortable about it- well I have to admit, it would be weird, but I don't want to feel like I'm hurting you again."

"But you aren't. And trust me, Yeonjun would kill you if he thought that's what was happening again. And even if you tried hiding it, Yeonjun was like my personal spy before, so I'm sure he would find out pretty quick." Beomgyu said jokingly, smiling at the memory of how much Yeonjun had done for him when all of the Chae-Yeong drama went down. (True that. Yeonjun is his personal spy lmao)

"Good point..." Soobin turned to Sun. "Count me in."

*Yeonjun's POV (First person)*

*An hour and thirty minutes earlier*

I slowly opened my eyes and looked at the clock on the bedside table. It was 5:00 am. I vaguely wondered how I could have woken up so early, but I decided to get up, anyways. I opened the door and wandered to Kai's door, knocking softly to see if he was awake. Given past experiences, he usually was. Just as I expected, Kai opened the door right away.

"Hey, darling." Kai said with a wink, making me feel flustered. He's never called me that before.

"Hey, love." I mumbled, my mind still slightly foggy with sleep. Kai moved to let me come in, closing the door behind me.

"Why are you up so early?" Kai asked.

I shrugged and yawned. "I randomly woke up. What about you? Why are you up?"

Kai sighed. "I forgot to turn off my alarm. It went off ten minutes ago."

"Oh," I said before yawning again. 

"Want to lay down, darling?" Kai asked, sitting down on the bed and patting the spot next to him. I nodded and sat down next to him.

"Are you even tired?" I asked, leaning my head on his shoulder. Kai shrugged.

"Kinda. Come on now, lay down."

I nodded and climbed into bed, pulling the blankets tight around me. Kai soon followed and snuggled against me. I instantly put my arms around him.

"How do you think Soobin and Beomgyu are?" I whispered. I felt bad for Soobin, but I especially felt bad for Beomgyu. Beomgyu went through getting his heart broken by Soobin, and this and... getting raped by Dae-Jung. I shivered.

"I think... they'll figure it out. If it's meant to be, that is." Kai mumbled with his eyes closed and his head snuggled against my chest. I gently pulled him closer.

"And what about us?" I asked quietly.

"What do you mean?"

"Do you think we're meant to be?"

"Yes, Yeonjun. I do."

*Beomgyu*

*Later at 7:30 am*
