*Beomgyu's POV (First person)*

*a week later*

"It's going to be fine," I assured Soobin for what felt like the millionth time. Me, Soobin, Yeonjun, Kai, and Taehyun were currently on our way to Soobin's house for the summer.

"I know, I know." Soobin said through a sigh.

"When are you actually going to tell them?" Yeonjun asked.

Soobin shrugged. "Anytime at dinner should be okay... it's when my dads the most calmest for some reason."

"Great! It'll be best to get this over with as quickly as possible." I said.

"Well, considering he even accepts you. He's going to be so mad." Soobin said, fidgeting with the end of his shirt.

I wrapped my arms around Soobin and looked up at him.

"It's going to be okayy. No matter what happens, we'll get through this together. Plus, you promised to be there for me no matter what, so," I added with a grin, holding up the hand that had the promise ring Soobin had given me months ago.

Soobin grabbed my hand and ran a finger over the ring. "I guess I did, huh?"

I nodded. "Yeppp! So no going back now."

Soobin quickly pecked my lips, earning gagging sounds from Taehyun.

I smacked Taehyun's arm.

"Seriously, Taeh?" I groaned.

"Don't take it personal, Taehyun's just jealous that he can't get a boyfriend or girlfriend." Kai said, teasingly.

"Excuse me??? I can! I just don't want one!" Taehyun protested.

Kai rolled his eyes with a smile. "Suuuuuuureee, Taehyun, suuure." 

Taehyun opened his mouth but I quickly cut in. "Ladies, Ladies, calm your horses." I said, earning chuckles from Soobin and Yeonjun.

"Ladies? Come on! I thought you were done with that, Beomgyu! It's been so long since you've said it." Kai groaned.

I offered him a cheeky grin. "So maybe I should say that to you guys more." I teased.

"Nooo!" Everyone groaned.

"Excuse me??? What are you complaining about, mister?" I said, looking at Soobin. "I haven't even said it to you yet!"

"So that means it's only a matter of time before you do." Soobin said with a teasing smile.

"Fine. I just won't talk to you then." I said, crossing my arms and spitting my tongue at him.

"Beomgyuuuu, I'm sorry." Soobin said, trying to hug me.

"Too late." I said, leaning back.

Soobin opened his mouth but Yeonjun interrupted. "Ladies, I'll turn this car around if you keep it up." Yeonjun tilted his head thoughtfully. "It is actually kind of fun calling you guys that."

"See?" I said in triumph. 

"You do realize he just called you a lady, right?" Kai asked, laughing. I opened my mouth. Then closed it. Everyone laughed at the defeated look on my face.

"Whaaatever." I said, shrugging it off. "And don't think I forgive you." I said, squinting my eyes suspiciously at Soobin. 

Soobin pulled me closer and hugged me. "Don't be like that, Beomgyu."

"I want to be, though." I said stubbornly.

Soobin shook his head and kissed my forehead. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me."
