Outcast

I glare at the teacher, who, no suprise, doesn't notice. Halfway through  class I stand and leave the room. I pull Tylers jacket tighter around me as I walk through the woods. I've decided that this is indeed the best place in this hell-hole of a school. I wander around for a while, till a branch snaps behind me. I turn around and come face to face with possibly the worlds most ugliest monster. I know I should be scared of it, but there I was walking twords it. Something about it felt oddly familiar. Just as I reach out to it it turns around and runs away. I sigh and jog, following it. However it soon is out of sight. 

I stop Jogging and continue walking twords destination un-kown, till I hear a cough, from a bush. Now there are alot of odd things in these woods, but I don't believe coughing bushes are on the list. I walk twords it,and give the bush a kick. I expected some animal to come out, but not for a familiar face to pop out of the bush. I jump back in fright.

" What are you doing behind a bush?" I ask, looking at him.

" Funny thing is I don't know. But you really shouldn't come any closer." He says still behind the bush.

" Why?" I ask from where I stopped walking. I see his face turn pink.

" Because, um, I seemed to have lost my clothes." He whispers the last part. I blush lightly. 

" Well, erm... I can bring you some from your house." I say.

" Well that's the problem, do you know how to get to my house?" He asks looking at me.

" I can figure it out. If I head south I belive I should find it." I say. Without waiting for an answer I turn and head that way. Soon I see his house, and I crawl in through an unlocked window. I find his room and grab out some clothes, and one of the many jackets hanging in his closet. I walk back and toss the clothes at the bush, then turn around and wait for him to change.

" Good." He says and I turn around and see him now fully clothed, come out from behind the bush.

" Why are you out here anyway, shadow?"

" Why are you." I say walking twords the direction of town.

" Fair point I guess, but still..." I turn and cast him a smile.

" If it matters that much to you,class got boring and I was going in to town to see you." I say to him.

" Oh." We continue walking in silence beside each other. Our shoulders brush once or twice.

We enter the shop and I go behind the counter with Tyler and strap on an apron.

" Your gonna help?" He asks looking slightly amused.

" Yes." I say. I then venture around and am in the middle of whiping of a table when a girl that looks oddly like Tyler bursts in.

" Hey Tyler, sorry I'm late! The alarm didn't go off and- whose that?" She asks him looking at me. I freeze, and turn around. Are my powers fading, or is she something special that she can see me?

" I am trixxie." I say walking up to stand beside Tyler, who also looks taken aback by somone noticing me.

" Ah, you work here too? Im Valena by the way, Tyler Older sister." 

" No, I came in to help a friend. Nice to meet you." I say. Tyler looks nervously between the two of us.

" Glad you two finnaly met, now get to work Vale." He says.

I walk closer to him.

" You have a sister? Never told me." I say.

" Oh, didn't think you'd meet her." He says with a shrug. I nod and go back to cleaning. I am finished with the tables when Valena asks me to take over cash register duty. I nod, and Tyler watches as I step up, and Vale walks away to help with the drinks. As usual people don't notice me, an Tyler comes up and takes their orders. I shrug away an odd feeling of hurt, and go back and help Vale. 

Why would it hurt that a few people didn't notice me? It's never really bothered me this much before... I shrug and get to work. Soon it's closeing time. I hang up the apron and wait for Tyler. His sister is standing with me.

" How do you know Tyler?" she asks looking at me,

" Met him a few days ago here." I say as Tyler approaches. I put on his old jacket. Vale glances at me when I do that, but turns to Tyler.

" Can I hitch a ride? My cars in the shop." 

He looks at me and I shrug.

" Uh, sure. But it's going to be a bit squished." He says walking to his truck.

" Huh?" Vale says.

" i can walk, that's fine Ty." I say to him.

" No, you might get hit."He says opening the the passenger door.

" But-" 

" Get in, shadow." He says grinning like an idiot. I softly smile then get in. Vale follows suitt, casting an odd look at her brother and me.

Ty hops in and supprisingly its not squished at all. Sometimes I forget how thin I am. Tyler looks at me, clearly thinking that I need to eat more.

" I don't get hungry often." I say with a slight shrug.

The drive is silent, and slightly uncomfortable. We arrive at the school, and Vale casts a ugly glance my way.

" THIS is where you live?" She says as i hop out.

" Yes. sadly." I go to leave.

" See ya around shadow!" Tyler says as he gets in the truck.

" Bye, Ty." I say, I then turn around and walk away, in twords school.
