Reunion of soulmates

Chapter 6

Mithali put her phone down in frustration and clenched her fists in anger thinking about how Neil is avoiding her ever since Neilansh made his way back into his life. She is his fiance so she also has equal rights to Neil just like his son but nowadays Neil is ignoring her existence in his life. She can't sit like this, she has spent ten years of her life waiting for Neil to love her back. She wants the love Neil showered upon Avni when she was his wife. She thought that Avni's betrayal would bring him closer to her but it feels as if the distance between them is increasing day by day. On top of that, his son doesn't like her presence so she highly doubts that she can use Neilansh to woo Neil. Moreover, she doesn't want to accept Neilansh as her child. She wants to start her own family with Neil after their marriage so she feels irritated whenever Neil tries to bring the topic of Neilansh's upbringing in front of her. How much she wishes that Neilansh's custody is returned back to Avni so that she can live a happy and peaceful life with Neil and with the passage of time Neil would eventually forget about Avni and her son. She would give him happiness and their own family and will pull him away from his past life. She needs to strengthen her relationship with Neil and then she will convince him to give Neilansh's custody back to Avni, in this way, Avni's involvement in their lives would be stopped and she can get her happily ever after with the love of her life. 

She again tried to call him but he didn't answer her calls, she became even angrier. She didn't want to leave Neil for two days as there is a high chance that Avni and Neil will become closer to each other as they have their son as a connecting link between them. She would try everything possible to keep them apart as she doesn't want to lose Neil at any cost. Hell! she even tried to plot seeds of hatred within Neil's mind against Avni by bribing the layer. She asked their lawyer to humiliate Avni in court so that she can instigate Neil against Avni but her entire plan backfired and Neil took a stand for Avni. 

She doesn't understand why Neil supported her when that lady has literally betrayed his trust and made his life a living hell for 10 years. Whatever it is, now she won't allow anyone to snatch the love of her life and she is determined enough to eliminate anyone who would try to create hurdles in her love life. She sighed in helplessness when Neil again ignored her call and went to her work. After a hectic schedule, when she finally arrived back in her hotel room, a staff worker brought an envelope that someone had dropped for her, she became confused upon inspecting the envelope as the name of the sender isn't mentioned on the paper. she opened the envelope and found a letter. The contents of the letter shocked her to the core.

Khanna mansion 

Neilansh was having the time of his life as his family was united and he was able to celebrate his birthday with his loved ones without any worries, moreover, he was happy that Mithali wasn't present there as she always finds a way to irritate him. His father picked him up in his strong arms and made him cut the cake that is baked by his mother with lots of love. He gave the first bite to Avni and Avni rubbed some cream on his face making him pout but a small smile appeared on his face after seeing the happiness on his mother's face. He won't hesitate to rub the entire cake on his face to make his mother smile. He loves her a lot and can't see her sad, just like his father. Neil was also happy after seeing unadulterated happiness on Avni's face. He remembers how he used to act stupidly for making her smile in previous years, he and Neilansh share this specific trait, they both want to see Avni happy at any cost. 

After the cake-cutting, all the children started dancing with each other, Neil also joined them, and the party was going in full swing. Prakash saw Avni standing alone so he approached her and extended his hand in front of her. Avni looked at him confused and Prakash smiled at her. 

Prakash - Can I have a dance with, my daughter? 

Avni smiled and looked at Shweta who was already looking at them affectionately. 

Prakash - Avni don't look at Shweta Ji, I am bored of dancing with her, so today I want to dance with my daughter. 

Avni and Bebe chuckled while Shweta glared at him playfully. 

Shweta - I will see you later Prakash Ji. (playfully)

Prakash - I know, after all, you cannot afford to not see a handsome man like me. (teasingly).

Everyone laughs at his playfulness and Avni held his hand and both of them started dancing. Avni smiled sadly while looking at Prakash, he is an ideal father figure in her life, whenever she needed his support he was there for her. She can't even imagine his condition if he got to know the dirty secret she is hiding from everyone. He is innocent but he won't forgive himself for that incident. she will never regret leaving all her happiness behind in order to protect this man who described the true meaning of her father's love and care in her life. She is ready to sacrifice even more in order to preserve his happiness. 

Prakash made Avni turn around and gently pushed her toward Neil. Avni got imbalanced and Neil held her tightly in order to prevent her from falling down. Their bodies were pressed against each other while their eyes were devouring the endless love reflecting from each other orbs. Prakash smiled and went back to standing with others after accomplishing his short mission. Bebe smiled after seeing this and pulled Prakash's ear making him wince in pain. 

Bebe - You have become a grandfather yet your naughtiness isn't going away. 

Prakash - when my kids are acting as tube lights then I have to become naughty. Don't blame me, Bebe, blame them. (rolling his eyes)

Bebe - No doubt Tillu has gotten his naughty bone from you and now my innocent Neilansh will also inherit that. (shaking her head). 

The trio laughed and looked at their kids who were still trapped in each other's arms. 

Neil didn't want to let go of Avni, it feels as if she will vanish in thin air if he lost his grip on her. A question was constantly making an appearance within his mind today, Did he really has the heart to lose her one more time? Can he actually move on with someone else when he knows that his Avni is alive? He has spent those hellish years submerging himself within her memories, now she is back, can he actually let her go away from him?

Avni felt shy due to their close proximity and took a step back, breaking the spell she inflicted upon him. 

Neil - Are you alright? (concerned) 

Avni - Yeah! Thank you. (shy).

Neilansh held their hands and pulled them onto the dance floor. The entire family joined them and everyone was happy after seeing their little boy's happiness.
