Reunion of soulmates

Chapter 2

In morning

Sunheri was banging door of Avni's room but Avni was lying unconscious. Having no other option, she opened her bed room's door with the spare key and entered inside.

Her eyes widened in shock after seeing Avni's condition. She placed her on the bed with other's help and called the doctor.

Tara - What have happened here ? Her room is so scattered. ( while examining the room. )

Sitara - I hope she is fine. ( worried )

Soon doctor arrived, they all went outside and were waiting for doctor's response regarding Avni's health.

The doctor came out of her room and told them she became unconscious due to weakness and stress and she will become conscious after sometime. He suggested some medicines and left from there.

Sunheri - Avni's life revolves around Neilansh. How she will handle herself in future ? It's been only one day since he's gone and see her condition. ( concerned ).

Tara - But what happened yesterday when we all were out ?

Sunheri - That's why I didn't want to go to the annual function by leaving her alone. You guys go and talk to kids, they all are very scared. I will clean Avni's room and sit beside her.

Tara and Sitara leave from there. Sunheri went inside Avni's room and saw a burnt paper lying on the floor. She became suspicious but shrugged away her thoughts and cleaned her room.

Neil's room

Neil woke up from his deep slumber and found Neilansh asleep beside him. He smiled and planted a soft kiss on his son's head. He got ready for his day and went downstairs only to find Prakash sitting at the couch, all frustrated. Neil sat beside him.

Neil - What happened dad ?

Prakash - Khanna industry is going through difficult phase. ( sighs )

Neil - If you want, I can manage your work.

Prakash - You want to join office ? ( shocked ) As far as I know, you weren't interested in doing so.

Neil - I became police officer, so that I can give justice to people but I myself got exploited by being in that profession. I had to arrest my own wife for something she haven't done, my own family suffered alot due to my enemies. I left that job because it made me hollow, it snatched my everything. I became RJ, so that I can live with Avni's memories, I wanted to keep her alive in form of my stories but here also destiny played another weird game. ( chuckles sadly ) I think, joining office is the only option left with me. ( sighs )

Prakash - You know, yesterday night I was getting flashes of those good old  days when we all were living happily. Our lives were full of problems Neil but we always made each other smile. Even, when we were surrounded with gloominess, we didn't left each other's hand. This is known as family Neil. ( sighs ). As I kept on thinking, I realised that it's not for the first time we are facing this situation. We have faced this before as well. Remember, when you arrested Avni ? We all were separated for 6 months.

Neil nods.

Neil - I still remember, how eager you all were for meeting your Avni when you all visited her in jail but she refused to meet anyone cos she didn't want to make herself weak.

Prakash - That time we got to know, how much we adore her, how much she meant for us. When she came back, we all were the happiest. ( smiles ). We were happy when she returned home after 6 months so why are we mourning when she returned back in our lives after painful 10 years ?
