My hands itch, my right foot resting above my left starts to wiggle, I sit beside my uncle facing the capos of the mafia with a face that shows the intent of killing. I am mad. I am fucking mad. Someone wants to ruin the joining of the Italian and Russian mafia but why?

"I can just tell it's the Russians at work. It's their style to bomb things" someone speaks from the crowd while every other person in the room make sounds of agreement.

"They want ownership of our outfit!" another person hollers.

"We won't let this slide"

"They go ahead and blow up their places to make us believe it's an accident but I know it isn't"

I slam my pen on the desk. Everywhere becomes silent.

"The news of the explosion just came out. Only those in the dark web know much about. Pray tell, how you knew the Russians also suffered a blow" I ask  Marcus, the round chubby, beady eyes capo that made the last statement. His face went pale. My lips curl to a smirk. I untangle my legs as I prop my hands on the desk and entwine my fingers.

My eyes scan the room, the Italian mafia has about six capos and I can only trust three out of them. I've been looking for ways to remove the unloyal ones from the outfit.

Starting from Marcus Carlos. I've had Tiana tag him since papa's death. For a long time he's been doing things along the line but this past few weeks, his been acting strange. I noticed him in some pictures with Federico, they seem to be getting close which means something fishy is going on. I decide to play along with him and see what happens.

My head rests on my entwined fingers. "You are one loyal man. You already have details on our enemy. Have you been keeping tabs on them?" I lean forward, my eyes piercing through his. He relaxes and let's out a breath of relive then a smooth smile creeps to his lips.

Idiota.

"Yes, ermm. I've been watching them for a while now. You know, to be able to get ahead and such" He boasts. I raise my eyebrows with fake interest in what he is saying.

"That's brilliant. So, what else do you know about the Odessa?" I ask. He adjusts his coat and puffs out his chest.

"Well, I know that your fiance, Dimitri is no son of the Don, He's a son of a capo." He brags. To this, I'm surprised. I do not know about this part of the story, my eyebrows rise up to the roof. I gave Marcus a look that spelt "Really?".

He rubbed his hand on his silver walking stick, looking like he just won a trophy. "How did he become Don then? What about the real Don?" I throw at him. He blinks twice at me before clearing his throat.

I know now that he does not know the answer to my question. Is he even telling the truth? I make a note to tell Tiana to figure out the real truth. To be honest, I don't like the fact that I'm just hearing about this now and from the mouth of idiots I don't like. He promised to be loyal and honest but didn't think it is necessary to let me know about things like this. Anyways, I won't ask about it and I won't say anything about the issue. Once Tiana gets the full story for me, only then will I know how to face it.

Back to the issue at hand. I lean back in my seat, looking at every person at the table, I'm going to get rid of the rotten apples in our midst and I will make it painful and slow.

"Now that we know this much about our enemy how do we eliminate them without suffering the consequences?" I adjust my glasses. Murmurs break out in the room. As they begin to argue on ways to destroy the Russian mafia. I look over at Uncle Max and we share a grin. He also has no clue about the plan I have in mind. I do not wish to let anyone know about my plan, it is better it stays between me and myself.

"The Odessa is a powerful empire and I don't think it is wise to offend them. We are not entirely sure if they were the ones responsible for the explosion. Let's not think irrationally" Christian spoke out  from the crowd. He is one of the the good capos that I plan on keeping and what he said does make sense. Going against the Odessa is a wrong move but I'm the only one who knows what my initial plan is.

"Something must be done!"

"We can't just keep quite and let them finish us in a blink of an eye!"

"They are definitely the ones responsible for the bombings"

The men begin to shout over themselves. It annoys me, only kids act the way they do. My uncle sees me the irritation on my face and nods.

"Silence!" his voice booms across the room like a speaker. I watch with disinterest, this meeting is taking longer than I planned for it to be, I haven't had breakfast this morning. I do not play with food, no matter what happens.

"This matter is up to the boss herself. You've been the one solving cases all these while. What do you think we can do to eliminate the Russian and not get affected?" the round ball human, Marcus questions, his beady eyes could not even look me in the eyes.

Pathetic.

I smile brightly at him." My, thanks for the praise and I do have a plan which I believe would be effective and would help us in the long run" the room becomes silent as they listened to me talk. Marcus's face has taken another shade of color.. Red.

Is the idiot....... blushing?
