ALEXANDER MCCALL FLIPPED ONTO THE NEXT PAGE. After having finished his assignments, he had decided to open up a book to read for fun. He had told himself just one chapter, as he should go to sleep, but wanted to start the book before he decided to pick up another one.
But, the problem was, that once he started to read it. He couldn't stop reading it. His eyes dragged along the pages, flipping it. He was already done with three chapters. Even though he started to read thirty minutes ago.
After this chapter, he thought, after having reminded himself he should go to sleep.

Scott had told him about the fight he and Derek had, how Derek revealed that he isn't the Alpha, saying that both he and Scott were betas. And, revealed that Allison's father is a hunter.

Alec had decided to surprise Scott and Stiles by showing up at the school, to take them to get something to eat.
Alec honked the horn when he saw the two exit out of the building, but the two didn't look up. Scott when to his bike and Stiles went to his car.
Stiles began to pull out of the parking lot.
Alec's eyes widen when seeing a familiar figure walking towards the car, arm extended out. He immediately got out of his car, running to the front of Stiles's car. Derek fell to the ground before Alec made it.
Scott ran up to them as Alec lifted Derek into a sitting position. "Are you okay?" Alec questioned.
"What the hell?" Scott asked. "What are you doing here?"
"I was shot," Derek announced, sounding tired and in pain.
"He's not looking so good, dude," Stiles commented.
"No shit," Alec sarcastically snapped.
"Why aren't you healing?" Scott asked the older werewolf.
