[☾★ ] Alexander MCCall had been in the same grade as Derek when the Hale House was burnt down. The MCCall boy had been class when Derek suddenly ran out, his sister Laura running along side him.
Alexander made up an excuse for them both.
And when...
ALEXANDER MCCALL HAD STAYED WITH DEREK HALE. "Alright, so we are killing Jackson?" Alec questioned, looking up at Derek.
"You're not going," Derek tells him.
"What? Of course I am! You and Scott aren't gonna fight the Kanima alone." Alec replied.
"I'm bringing Isaac," Derek responded, as if that would end the discussion.
"Oh, great, yeah, bring the teenager who's been a beta of all five seconds," Alec sarcastically called out.
"Yes, Isaac, who can heal quickly, and the Kanima wouldn't be able to kill." Derek replied.
"The Kanima only kills murders, I haven't killed anyone," Alec reasoned.
"You're staying here."
"Okay, so, either I can go with you, or I sneak in after, which, you know I'll do. Especially since you and Scott will be there. Possibly Stiles, as well."
Derek sighed, knowing that Alec would follow them, and even if he did stop Alec, he wouldn't be able to also kill the Kanima. "You are not going anywhere near the Kanima, got it?"
"Unless I need to defend one of you," Alec says as he pointed to Derek, and then Isaac and before he could say Scott and Stiles name, Derek stopped him.

They had gone to Scott's job, at the vet in order to talk to Deaton. Isaac had gone with the two. Scott unlocked the door when seeing the three. "What's he doing here?" Scott asked, tilting his head to gesture to Isaac. He paused at seeing his older brother. "What are you doing here?"
