The meeting with Jaemin proved futile as always, because that shady bastard wouldn't surrender his power if there was a knife to his throat.

Then again, a knife wouldn't do much.

But Jungwoo was getting much too used to the feeling of the shackles around his ankles, and the quietness he hears when he closes his eyes has proven to be a burden he never thought he would have to bear.

Jaemin said he was 'acting out' again, so he called Johnny back to the hall so they could discuss the plan to handle Hera.

His arrival was less than ideal.

"I told you I should have just stayed here," he mused, as if his intentions were anything but pestilent.

"You're welcome in the guest room," Jaemin said around a disgusting grin, one he hadn't rid his face of since he got there.

He was politely declined before he even finished the offer.

"The Underworld isn't the most inviting place, you'll forgive me."

"It's not that bad here," he shrugged, smile never faltering. "Just ask Zeus."

He was sent a death glare. "You would say that, you're alone and you have a dog."

"Fight me you overgrown thunder bolt, at least he wants to be here."

"It's a dog. It doesn't know what the hell it wants."

"Well hey," Jaemin shrugged again in mock surrender. "You're free to leave whenever. Right?"

Jungwoo wanted to snarl. The only reason he didn't, was because he knew Jaemin would make another stupid comment about his dog.

Stupid dogs.

Stupid good for nothing two headed dogs.

"Let's not snap off heads, gentlemen, we have things to discuss, don't we?" Johnny smirked. He was clearly entertained.

"We do," Jaemin settled into his seat. "A goddess to dethrone, correct?"

Jungwoo nodded slowly.

The more he thought he about it, the more it felt like a bad idea.

Not because he cared at all about Hera, but rather because he knew what she was capable of.

He didn't want to risk anything in his current subdued state.

And with each passing moment, he could swear he felt her growing anger in the back of his mind.

"Okay, let's not beat around the bush any longer. We are all aware the plan is to kill her, right?"

Too many questions, Jaemin.

"Yes," Jungwoo huffed. "Let her be your problem and not mine."

Jaemin sighed.

"You have always been so simple minded, brother."

"Simple problems require simple solutions," Johnny chimed.

Jaemin narrowed his gaze.

"Do you really think this is simple?"

"Why wouldn't it be?"
