PLOT:

Twins Emyr and Rhianwen and their cousin Seren have been thick as thieves ever since Seren came to live with the Hughes family when she was 3 years old after the death of her parents.

However, the trio's antics is starting to become a nuisance for the matriarch of the family, so she and her husband agree the kids could use a new change of scenery.

Amun Boarding School in Liverpool, England seemed like a good place to start. The teens are less than enthusiastic about the change but intend on at least trying it.

Conveniently, they get placed into Anubis House, the most prestigious house in the academy and all is well.

However, with the disappearance of Joy Mercer and the arrival of American Nina Martin, the teens discover Amun Academy is more than it seems and become members of Sibuna to help stop whatever stands in their way.

OTHER:

•I never got into House of Anubis when it initially aired (but I always saw the trailers on Nickelodeon) but then over the summer I saw it on Paramount+, decided to try it out and well here we are lol. This show is super compelling and it makes me miss that era of tv a lot (also I appreciate the camera style...I can't remember what it's called). Unfortunately, I haven't watched past the first season yet because I'm afraid I will get ideas if I continue...idk lol

•Amber, Fabian and Patricia were my favorite characters from season 1 so that's why they're the love interests

•All the OCs are Welsh because self indulgence is a powerful drug😆

•Act 1 takes place during season 1, Act 2 during season 2, Act 3 during season 3 and the epilogue is set during the tv movie the Touchstone of Ra

•So, we got three kids. They are cousins—Seren's parents died in a tragic car accident and has been raised as a member of the Hughes family

•However, there may or may not have been more of an ulterior motive and the accident might not have been an accident at all👀

•Rianwen and Patricia's relationship might be complicated since this book takes place during 2012 (I'm sorry if I reminded anyone that that was a decade ago now lol) because this show is mainly grounded in realism and homophobia was definitely a thing (and still is of course)

•Seren and Fabian might take a while to get together. She likes him in season 1 but she knows he likes Nina and doesn't want to get in between them so stays out of it. They'll eventually get together in season 2 (probably...I hope😅)

•Emyr, meanwhile, makes his feelings known though whether or not anyone actually knows he likes Amber is unclear. He's generally moody and only his sister and cousin can actually pick up on his crush. They eventually get together during the season

•Rianwen finds Nina, Fabian, Patricia, Amber and Alfie meeting secretly and is very suspicious about what they are doing. She is eventually let in on the secret and becomes a member of SIBUNA on the condition that her cousin and brother can also join which they do
