Lady Justice
Is she always truly just?
Sitting with scale and sword in hand
Do people always get judged fairly
People deserve a fair chance
Don't judge books by their cover
Or people by the clothes they wear
Determining whether or not something happened
Justice should be fair but she isn't
Lawyers manipulating and twisting words
Innocent people taking the fall
Why should they take the blame
Someday when your actions get weighed
Will you be in the wrong
Or will you barely scrape by
Before you do something you will regret
Think of the guilt you will feel
Think of the people you will hurt
You might not be lucky enough
To get by without conviction
Justice, the true justice
Has been masked by
All the lies cheats bribes and twisting words
I want you to know,
You reap what you sow
