On Hiatus There's always something unusual about first love - as if tequila has burned our rational thoughts and possessed our brains. There comes a time when life is happening way too fast and so you just have to take a breath, calm down, and take down whatever you've been feeling. That's the time when I start to write my poems. Whether it be when I'm bored in the classroom, or I'm having a hard time falling asleep, or I really just need to get something off my chest, I just really love to write poems. Being a proud hopeless romantic, most of these poems are about love. Whether it be about my unrequited feelings or random stories in my head, I love writing about love! She's a bibliophile and he's dyslexic. He's addicted to basketball and she can't run for a few minutes without fainting. They sure aren't perfect but they're perfect together. If only they knew it. ~~~ In which Venus Hill, a certified bibliophile and student at Liberté High, experiences a barrier in her life. A barrier that a certain somebody can help her overcome. Will she be able to reach out or is she destined to be stuck there forever?
