"that'll be karl," dream says, referring to the knock that'd just caught their attention.
george pulls his gaze away from home alone, looking over at dream. "do you want me to get it?" he offers.
dream shifts his vision down to sapnap, who is slumping most of his weight against the blond, half-asleep as he watches a young macaulay culkin move around on screen. "please."
george gets up, disappearing out of the lounge to get the door. from his space on the couch, dream can hear karl and george greeting one another, and sapnap shifts at the sound, sitting up a little.
karl and george return, and the fluffy-haired brunette smiles excitedly. "are you all excited to go in the snow?" he asks them.
sapnap really perks up at that, sitting up straight with bright eyes. "are we going out now?" he asks hopefully.
"not quite yet," dream declines, "the other two are on their way."
sapnap slumps back down against dream again with a disappointed sigh. "can't we just start without them?" he tries fruitlessly.
"no, because then we'll get cold and bored and want to come back in before they even get here," george reasons, the same explanation he'd been repeating all morning. "be patient, sap."
the ravenette mimics george with a salty, "be patient, sap," raising his voice high and putting on an annoying voice. "do i have time to nap before they get here?" he asks, nuzzling his cheek against dream's shoulder.
"probably not sap, they'll be here in like 5 minutes," dream answers.
sapnap hums. "okay," he mumbles, "i'll just rest my eyes."
george rolls his eyes at his boyfriend as he and karl sit down.
karl crosses his legs underneath him, holding onto his fluffy-socked feet. he looks over at dream, offering him a shy smile.
dream smiles back, ignoring how hot his cheeks feel.
karl's gaze drifts to the tv and he gasps. "you convinced dream to watch home alone?!"
"i wish," george scoffed, shaking his head, "he's been on his phone the whole time."
dream smiled almost proudly, shrugging unapologetically. "oops."
karl rolls his eyes at the blond. "you are so difficult, difficult, lemon, difficult," he says.
george giggles at the reference, dream replying with a simple, "don't care, didn't ask."
"are we going to make snowmen?" george wonders.
"uh, we better," karl says, looking at george like he's crazy for even considering that they may not. "that's literally the best part of snow!"
