Pearl's P.O.V.

I ran quickly, my heart hammering against my chest.

Please let it not be too late. I need to save her.

I kept running until I faced the set of stairs.

A white carpet lay over the hardwood floor. My feet barely touched the ground as I bolted up the steps.

I stopped at the top when I felt the warm, sticky, substance latch onto the bottom of my feet.

I gazed down.

And I froze in place.

Ame, please. Ame, no.

I looked down at the mess of blood and Ame's poor limp body. All her black hair slowly turning white, expect near her scalp, that hair still lay black.

I bent down to look at her.

I clutched her face. Her dark skin turning a light shade of purple.

Ame.....Why?.....

I cried loudly as more blood pooled out of her chest and onto my knees.

I held up her head and gazed into her deep brown eyes.

They slowly were changing shape, changing color.

"Ame...." I cried.

Tears streamed down my face and onto her black tank top.

A bright purple light surrounded the area. It kept shining, its amazing glow filling up the room with purple.
I closed my eyes and held Amethyst closer to me as the purple wave enveloped us.

I gasped loudly as I woke up.
And I breathed in and out.

Its just a dream. Just a horrible dream.

I slowly sat up in my bed. I felt the back of my head. My long, brown hair was drenched in sweat.

I closed my eyes as the sunlight poured through my window.

Crap....

I was late. I grabbed my clothes and ran into the bathroom.

Once I was dressed and ready for school, I ran downstairs.

I hit the last step and tripped over my own to feet, hitting the hardwood floor with a loud thump.

"You okay?" A voice asked me.

I winced as I felt the bump on my head.

"Yeah, I'm good." I said standing up.

"Good, I don't want you to go to the doctor's on your day off."

"What day is it?" I asked.

"Saturday." My sister said eating a bite of cereal.

I jumped up in joy.

Crap...I was still late.

"What time is it?" I asked putting on my white converse.

"Don't worry about it. Amethyst is outside." She said turning up the TV.

"Thanks, Mae." I said, kissing my younger sister on top of her head.

"Love ya."

"Love you too." I said, grabbing my pink key and leaving the house.

Just like Mae said, Amethyst was right outside.

I was so happy to see her. I looked at her. Her hair was back from being white to her normal black hair.
