Hello! I'm sorry for disappearing again. Those interested in knowing, the ddp in my life is constant. I spent almost 2-2.5 weeks caring for my grandparents in the hospital which jncluded wearing gloves so typing 2000 words was near impossible.  There was a lot going on in my personal life and then the freaking episodes obsession with Jharu is ridiculous so my mood has also been shitty.

But anyhow. This is an OS about the divorce episode. I find it funny that Akshu never has a panic attack over her rishta breaking despite Abhi being the love of her life. Also J don't really know what I wrote here. It's a little sad ofc but I still hope you guys enjoy it!

Happy Reading people!

Abhimanyu and Akshara gulped as they both stared out the window at the large sign.

Udaipur Court

It was this moment that they realized how easy it was to say something but exactly how difficult it was to truly do it.

Abhimanyu's leg started bouncing while Akshara's hands paled with the amount of pressure she was using to grip the steering wheel.

She turned to face forward, blinking away her tears and cleared her voice.

"Tu-Tum jao, main park kar ke aati hu." She mumbled refusing to look at him lest he read the panic in her eyes.

"Yahan tak saath aaye hai. Andar bhi saath hi chal-"

Her grip tightened more as she struggled to maintain her nonchalant attitude with the heaviness settling into her chest.

"Do kadam aur saath chalne se kya fayda jab zindagi baar saath chodne ka faisla kar hi chuke hai." She quipped bitterly, her nails now digging into her palms.

Abhimanyu felt his anger flair up again at her words. Was she in such a rush to get rid of him that she couldn't even tolerate him for 2 more minutes. He pushed the door open and got out with his file.

"Aane mein dher mat karna. Peecha chudane ka mauka haath se nahi jaana chahiye haina?" He sarcastically taunted her for her apparent desire to be free of him. Slamming the door, he strutted off with a heavy heart while she sat frozen.

Tears filled her eyes as his words reverberated loudly in the silence of the car. The only accompanying sound was her rushed heartbeats.

Starting the car again, she slowly drove towards the end of the parking lot and just as she parked by the edge of a forest, her walls cracked. Tears made their way down her face faster than she could wipe them.

"Nahi Akshu! Tujhe rona nahi hai. Tune yeh Abhi ke liye kiya hai na? Toh ab tu peeche nahi hat sakti!" Grabbing her file she got out and stood by her car, breathing deeply.

Slamming the door, she screeched at herself.

"BAS KAR AKSHU! Aur kitna royegi! Aaj se tujhe hi khud ko sambhalna hoga toh ab bas!"

Leaving the file on the roof of the car, she bent down to look into the mirror. With shaky hands she fixed her hair and wiped her tears as they continued to fall.

Taking deep breaths she tried and failed to relax herself. Her original plan was to let her emotions out in the car before reaching the court and yet seeing Abhi stranded, she couldn't refuse him. But now? Now her emotions were coming out in unstoppable waves.

"Bas kar Akshu. Tu bhi jaanti hai...agar Abhi tujhse ab bhi pyar karta toh divorce papers kabhi nahi bhejta...usne khud...woh pyar sab khatam-kuch nahi bacha." She mumbled as she paced into the forest, trying to make her crumbling heart understand.
