RECAP:

-----------"RPG!"

We were all launched off of our feet and thrown over the ledge of the cliffside, rolling down the slope and hitting various sharp edges.

As I tumbled down the mountain, I watched as Hades and Overwatch managed to land on a ledge, while Nomad and I continued our less than graceful fall. Our fall was cut short when Nomad landed face first into a snow pile. I, however, wasn't as lucky. At the last minute, I had managed to rotate my body and tried to maneuver myself into a position to brace for impact. Nearing the boulder that was below me, I thrusted my arms out in front of me to try and cushion my fall.

Groaning in pain, I turned to lay on my back as my vision blurred, coughing up some blood and felt the sticky liquid ooze down the side of my temple and forehead. My ears were ringing as I looked around, surveying my surroundings carefully.

"-per!" Nomad's face appeared in front of my own. He appeared to be talking, but I couldn't make out his words, it was all muffled by the ringing.

Nomad steadily helped me up to my feet, acting as a support until I was stable on my feet.

"Overwatch... Hades- Where are they?" I asked through gritted teeth, rapidly blinking my eyes to clear and focus my vision.

"—y're up th... secondary ren... point... -eet them... -ere" I had no idea what he was saying, but he pointed up. I followed his finger and my eyes landed on a ledge several feet above us.

"Let's get them." I coughed out, bending down to retrieve my weapon.

With a pat to my shoulder, Nomad nodded at me in confirmation as we began our climb towards Hades and Overwatch. I could only hope they were able to hide from the Federation forces.

It took a while for the ringing in my ears to stop. Luckily enough, we had zero encounters with any hostiles along the way. Nightfall was already upon us, as we came upon an enemy camp.

"Damn, they're everywhere. I heard more Federation troops. These guys aren't stupid, they're trained. Pick'em off, quick and quiet."

We split to go on opposite sides of the open ridge to flank them, getting into position.

>>Multiple targets at the fire. Stay soft. Let's wait for target separation. The wind and our suppressors give us advantage. Stealth wins, Reaper.<<

Once we were both in position, we made eye contact over the ridge, as I readied my DMR.

>>On your mark, Reaper.<<

Looking through the scope, I switched my gun to single-burst and steadied my breathing as I eyed my first target. I lined up my shot as my finger hovered over the trigger.
