medusa 1

He was going to the land of the Gorgons to deal with the woman with the snake hair medusa. She had been defeated before by Perseus but she was one to be a stubborn witch as well as a monster she was going to have her ruling over Mount Olympus one way or another. But she didn't think she'd have to fight something that was going to be equally as ugly as she. When he came to confront her Atlas this is he did not turn into stone this time like the others who tried to go after him instead he was already stoned and flesh. So her looks were no good.
She was screaming and yelling at him saying you're going to turn me into stone anyways. But she didn't know that that was what he was intending on after pounding her to a bloody pulp but that was his strategy. She was trying to get there at him trying to turn him into stone but it didn't work because he was a Titan not a man. Titans were special breed they were naturally occurring beings that could not be defeated. Particularly Atlas was one of them. When he decided to go after the female demon the Medusa he was going to try to talk to her tell her to leave the land of the Gorgons but that wasn't going to go anywhere. She was going to take her snake hair and attack him. The Venom was now running into his veins as well as his tattoo ink and his his blood and lava.
She was perplexed at the Venom from her snakes did not attack him or kill him like they would a normal person that's when she realized that he was more or less a gorgon too only this Gorgon was called a Titan.
He tried to do everything in his power to talk her out of this in this case he didn't want to fight another woman he felt like he was going to be strategic about this again. But in this case it wasn't going to be the case she was trying to vanimize him and turn him into a dead body something he wasn't going to take too lightly.
As he went near her she tried to glare at him even more trying to see if he was going to change and a complete Stone but it wasn't working. He was getting madder and mad her as her eyes limited and went into a wins as if trying to get her to close them. But then he decided to swing his sphere.... and sent her flying into the air. She went into a pond of acid which didn't really do very much to her. That's why he decided he was going to finish her off if the acid wasn't going to finish her off he was going to do it by turning her back into stone. He didn't care how stubborn this Gorgon was. He was going to turn her into stone somehow someway he knew he had a shiny Hammer but he didn't know you could use it for reflecting the looks of the Gorgon who would turn them into stone or try to. He thought maybe I'll use my hammer in a way that will be turning her into something else other than a nasty old lady who was going to hurt more man if not give children nightmares. The plan was this he was going to swing at her again with the sphere until she was Dazed and then he was going to do what he had to do to turn her back into stone he was going to be the next Perseus even though he was a Titan it didn't matter he was going to get his victory. When he battered medusa with the sphere that he had left for eons that's when she was trying her best to strike back. Was his plan going to work or was it going to fail we don't know.  But he knew this wasn't the only goddess or queen or Gorgon that he was going to have to deal with he was going to have to deal with more people of note in this case pretty soon. But right now he had one thing on his mind turn Medusa back into stone.
