You felt yourself being dragged by someone... or something you where being dragged by the hands and the ones dragging you had... plastic?
"Are these guys from CDC?" You thought to yourself.
???: "MAKE WAY AND STAND BACK PLEASE!"
Those voices seemed human enough to you but for some reason you couldn't open your eyes.
And then you passed out again.
"Plug..... im...... urry!"
"Ho...... se....... thetics."
"Ood....... mple?"
You tried to move but found out you where half paralyzed and you passed out again.
When you finally woke up you found yourself in a darkened room.
You tried to move but your wrists were being held down by wrist locks.
Y/N: "uuuuuugh where am i?"
???: "he is awakening i repeat he is awakening!"
???: "remarkable"
"Please try to stay in place" a third voice said.
Y/N: "A-are you the military?" You said groggily.
???: "we are."
???: "you took a huge fall, I'm surprised you managed to survive."
And suddenly you noticed something similar on the head of each scientist and, later on their behind, but due to the sedatives you couldn't quite tell.
"What are you doing to me?" You asked.
???: "we are going to fix you right up don't you worry."
Timeskip.
You had a bandage over your eyes due to the fall you had taken at least they said it was a fall.
You could hear a conversation outside your room.
???: "What do you mean to turn him into one of us? Just to clarify things with you, I don't think he is a huge security risk, I think we could take a chance to learn from him."
???: "No I..."
???: "No sir..... yes sir....."
???: "ill tell my team to work on a D.N.A formula right away sir..."
You heard the doctor come inside and right when he was about to say something you asked first:
Y/N: "what are you?"
Doctor: "L-look i-im sure you have lots of questions but i can asure..."
Y/N: "I WANT ANSWERS NOW!"
Doctor: "i know you are eager to get answers but once you get them there wont be going back..."
"Are you sure?"
Y/N: "yeah."
The doctor first removed the bandages on your eyes and then removed his mask revealing a fox-like face which caught you completely off guard.
"What the fuck are you!"
Doctor: "look, there is a lot to explain but this isn't the moment."
Y/N: "HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU TAL.."
You couldn't finish your sentence as you were sedated.
You woke up, yet again, in what looked like a hospital bed.
"Hnnnng..."
"Where am i...?"
"Wha- whats going on?!"
You said, feeling something penetrating your skin through your wrist.
You only got a glimpse of a dark figure and then you finally gave in thinking that it was the devil that had finally come for your soul for killing so many people in the days gone.
Timeskip
When the door to your room opened for the first time in a long time you could finally see some light that wasn't artificial and you could look better at what they had done to you.
Your body was now covered in what appeared to be some grey and white fur, hell you could even see your snout and it wasn't a pleasant or calming sight at all.
It all just felt too weird and you felt so out of place.
"Mr. Y/N" said the doctor.
Y/N: "wha- whats going on? Where am i? Who- who am i?"
Doctor: "do not worry Y/N we just gave you some... augmentations."
Y/N: "i-i need answers as to where i am."
The doctor suddenly started writing something down on his clipboard and then turned to you.
Doctor: "Correct me if i am wrong but you came to this dimension through a multiparticular portal, correct?"
"Yeah."
You said.
"Well the first thing you should know is that that portal wasn't a gateway to another dimension."
Y/N: "what do you mean?"
Doctor: "what i mean is that you basically traveled in time."
Y/N: "t-that ain't right it can't be... can it?"
Doctor: "im afraid it is."
Y/N: "Then that scientist lied to me..."
Doctor: "that scientist whom you protected was the key to your salvation, actually; however, the portal from where you came through is a one way ticket."
Y/N: "why, you mean you cant recreate it?"
Doctor: "i'm afraid so your chances of going back are nullified and even if that technology was at our reach we couldn't send you back, there are just too many timelines and the error margin is too much of a risk; with this i mean if we send you back and you end up in a timeline where you don't belong we would not be able to bring you back."
"I am truly sorry if you had familiars back in your own timeline."
Y/N: "no i haven't had them for a long time."
Doctor: "Is there anything else you would like to know about our species?"
Y/N: "Tell me everything you know."
Doctor: "alright have a seat this is going to take a long while."
