It was Friday I was sitting at our usual spot for lunch. Tonight was the girls night out. I won't be home to see my parents leave. I was glad that they won't be back till the end of summer. My parents and I were polar opposites. After the fight they didn't want to talk to me and I didn't want to talk to them. "Hey," Bekah mumbled. I smiled." Hey." "I'm going to get some food," she pointed to the line. I shook my head.
I wasn't really in the mood to talk to anyone, but I needed to before my demons took over my mind completely. It's sad when you can be with people who love you, but you feel so alone right there. It's like there is a huge clear box that I was living in and no one could break it. You can see them and they can see you.It drives you slowly mad until your thoughts get the best of you and suffocate you.
Everyone slowly showed up and got their food while I sat there not wanting to eat anything so I wouldn't become sick. Noah came over and sat beside me and leaned in to kiss my cheek. I smiled. "Hey, you okay?" he asked. "My parents are leaving tonight and it's a girls night out," I replied. He shook his head and didn't push any farther. He held my hand. The girls chatted up a storm about tonight. I laid my head on Noah's' shoulder and listened.
The rest of the classes flew bye and then I had to deal with my locker. The girls were back and they were pissed. I quickly grabbed my books out and scurried away to Bekah's locker. From there Bekah, Vicky and I went to the ice cream parlor. We got chocolate cherry dipped vanilla cones. "So two more weeks and schools over," Victoria mumbled. "I know right! We're almost half way through high school," Bekah replied stuffing her mouth into the ice cream cone. I smiled. They knew I wasn't a huge talker so they just didn't force me to talk.
From there we went to Bekah's house witch was a beautiful two story mansion like house. It baffled me why Elijah and Bekah didn't have a better car. She pulled into her garage and got out. "Holy crap! Your place is amazing!" I shouted looking around the inside. "Yea it is. My parents are Ceos for El Dior. They make some mad money," she replied flipping on her light.
Vicky automatically jumped onto the bed that had to have silk sheets.
"So what should we do first?" Vicky exclaimed. I looked up and saw Bekah shrug. "Movies?" We all shook our head. I looked around and her walls were filled with pierce the veil, bring me the horizon and many other bands. We watched Insidious. The rest of the night was peaceful we talked and laughed.
I hated the fact that we had to leave in the morning. I grabbed my bag and Bekah dropped me off. I walked in to my house. I could feel the negativity in this house. It was like a wall. I headed to my room and dropped of my bag. I turned on PTV and took a shower. I got out got dressed and started to head to Noah house sticking my ear buds in. My mind was racing over a thousand thoughts.
I walked up to the door and the blinds were open. I happen to glance in and see him. He was sitting there and watching tv. I knocked. He opened the door.
"Hey beautiful,"he said leaning in and kissing me. I smiled and let him drag me in the house. "Hey," I replied. "So how was the girls night out," he asked me Leaning in an stealing another kiss. "It was fine. I'm tired," I mumbled rubbing my eyes. He embraced me. I stood there in his arms. He was the reason I would keep fighting this battle I'm going through until I couldn't fight anymore.
We watched some movies for awhile until he dragged me out of the house to sit on the porch. "Why can't we go inside," I whined. "Wait for it," he replied. On cue the sound of the icecreem truck came about. Noah grinned. I shook my head. "Really?" "Oh yea," he grinned while practically dragging me to the road.
He got me a vanilla ice cream sandwich and a popsicle for him. He was so cute like a puppy almost. He's all ways trying to make sure everyone was happy. We sat back on his steps of the porch and ate it. I was watching the small kids play across the street when a cold thing went acroos my face. I turn to see Noah starting to get up and laugh. He smeared his popsicle on my face.
"Noah!"
"I love you...
"Yea right! Meanie!"
He ran towards the back of the house. So I ran into the back to get him. It was like those cheesy teen movies. When I got back there Noah sprayed me with the hose. I screamed. He grabbed me from behind. "I wi-" then it went. I couldn't hear. "Noah I-I can't hear," I panicked. He stopped and turn me to face him.
Are you okay?
I can't hear.
He pulled me in and hugged me. My hearing suddenly came back then like nothing happens. "I'm fine. My hearing must have just blacked out." He nodes his head. "Okay. Let's go inside." I agreed we went back inside and watched a movie.I left around six. I headed back home. It was quiet there. I made me some food and curled up on the sofa. My phone dinged. I pulled it out and checked it.
Hey can I come over? :*
Yea sure :*
Okay on way :)
See you soon.
K love you.The door rang 10 minutes later. I opened the door and Noah in. He gave me a quick kiss. "Hey beautiful."
"Hey. So movie night?" I asked pittling with both hands. "Why not." We curled up on the couch and I fell asleep in his arms. I knew he deserved better, but for now I just needed him.
