It was a long day. Sunday came around and Noah took me to his church. The name of it was Rivertree. It was a beautiful place. I enjoyed the church. We got some pizza afterwards
Everything was getting better, but slowly.

We were riding back when Noah looked over concerning. "How is your hearing?" He asked. My heart stopped. "Not good. I've lost a lot more hearing..." He took one hand off the stearing wheel and held it, running his dumb up and down my hand. "It will be fine beautiful." I could feel a tear coming to the brim of my eyelid deabating if it should jump off and commit suicide.

We came to my house to find a car parked in my driveway. It was a unfamiliar car. Noah parked. "Who is that?" He asked. "I don't know," I replied. He got out and walked around to let me out. I half smiled and took his hand. We headed up to the door.

A lady maybe 30 stood there. Bags rested under her eyes. "Miss. Lilly?" She said holdiing out her hand for me to take it. "Hello, that's me ,"I said giving a concern look. "I am Detective Jane. I am from Colorado. I am truly sorry for your loss."

I squeezed Noahs hand. "W-what do you mean my loss?" My heart fell to my feet. I shook like a twig. "Your parents are dead. They were found three days ago in a lake. They were murdered..." Tears welled up. "No,no, no, that's not possible. It can't be. They aren't dead.
Noah pulled me into an embrace . "Mai. Baby it's okay. It's going to be okay..." My heart was shaddered. The detective left give Noah her number. Noah stood the holding me. "Baby, oh my baby girl. It's going to be okay."

He took me inside guiding me to the sofa. He got me a drink and sat beside me not letting me out of his sight. "I love you.I am so sorry," Noah said kissing my forhead. I wasn't sure how to feel. I just felt numb. My heart bearlly stayed hanging by the small thread. I felt awful. I wanted this feeling to go away so damn bad. I needed it to.

...

Days went by I barely passed my exams and then summer hit. Noah would just sit beside me every day on the swing on my porch. Kids played and had fun. I stayed there slowly piecing my self back together. The detective ruled my parents as a unsolved case. With that my heart hung on by one little strand... Noah.
