Kal'tsit sighed.

This had better work.

She had to argue with Penguin Logistics in order to get Exusiai and Juliet on board.

The rest were generally fine.

Rosa had agreed almost immediately.

Amiya had already agreed before she could even ask her.

And finally

Gladiia had personally requested that she come along with them. And Kal'tsit had only agreed after a small exchange of explanations.

"We're approaching the landing sight now. All Operators please prepare your weapons and armors." The Feline instructed. "Does everyone remember the point of this mission?"

"It's a recovery mission, yeah? We just have to find Earthquake and get her out of there." Exusiai said, glancing over her gun.

"I suspect that it won't be so simple." Rosa said, adjusting her hat.

"Of course it won't. If I can say one thing about this guy, it's that he's a manipulative fellow that shouldn't be taken lightly." Gladiia said, spear already in hand.

"It'll be fine as long as we stick together. Just gotta focus." Juliet said.

"We're landing now. Everyone please get ready. We don't know what to expect here." Kal'tsit said, heading for the door.

"Um, no offense Dr Kal'tsit, but, you're unusually serious about this. Is there a reason?" Amiya asked, approaching her.

The feline had a faraway look in her eyes.

"Let's just say....it's a favor for an old friend." She said solemnly.

-

"Man this place is really creepy." Exusiai said, turning the corner.

"You're telling me. I've got chills all up my spine." Juliet said, shivering.

"This building used to be an Aegirian research facility but it's been abandoned for over a decade now. There were once rumors of horrible experiments taking place here. These rumors forced the facility to shut down in order to avoid the backlash." Kal'tsit explained, exiting another empty room.

"That does not help me feel any better."

"Are certain that the signal came from here, doctor?" Rosa asked, emerging from a different doorway.

"Positive. Although, it could be a case where someone removed the tracker and is trying to throw us off." The Feline said.

"No, I don't think that's it. I can sense many emotions here. New and old. Some are faint and some are very strong." Amiya said, looking around.

"Can you tell where they are then?" Juliet asked. "I don't really know how Arts work, let alone yours, so sorry if that's wrong!"

"No no, it's fine. I'm afraid I can't sense where she is based on her emotions. I can only sense how people are feeling when they're in front of me and I know they're there, if that makes sense." Amiya explained.

"Oh. I think I get it now. Thanks! But we better keep looking. I'm starting to get worried again." Juliet said, toying nervously with the hilt of her dagger.
