"Everyone please get out of the way!"

"Move!"

"Didn't you hear her?! She said to move, idiot!"

-

"She's in critical condition but we can't physically see what's wrong with her."

"Get her a full neurological scan as soon as right now."

-

"Is she gonna make it?"

"Not if you keep blocking the doctors from getting inside."

-

"What about the status of Operator Gladiia?"

"She lost a lot of blood but she recovering well enough so far. Those Hunters are really something else."

"Good."

-

"All vitals are stable at the moment. We've managed to keep her alive but it seems that the chip in her brain is what's causing her comatose state."

"What's wrong with it?"

"It's completely burnt out, and no longer functional."

"Is there any way we can repair it?"

"None that's available to us. Although..."

"What is it?"

"Operator Pliptosis. From Rhine Lab. She has a bit of a similar situation. If we can ask one of the Operators from Rhine Lab, or even Ptilopsis herself, maybe we can understand this better."

-

"From what I can tell, this is completely different. Ptilopsis had the chip implanted to save her life. But the chip here isn't used as a replacement to something that's missing. It can be removed but it will be a very dangerous process since it's directly connected to her hippocampus and it's almost guaranteed that there will be side effects. It's not a surgery that I would recommend."

"Thank you, Dr. Silence."

-

"We just need to wait. She's stable for now, but if anything comes up, contact me immediately."

"Of course, Dr. Kal'tsit."

[Three Months After The Incident]

When she opened her eyes for the first time, she was staring at a bright ceiling. The world around her quiet. But only slightly.

It's like she was emerged in an ocean, and could faintly hear voices.

It was almost comforting.

She could see various things passing through her field of vision, but she couldn't make out anything.

Slowly, she closed her eyes again.

-

When she opened her eyes for the second time, she was no longer under water.

She could hear voices clearly around her, but she couldn't move her body.

She was still staring up at the bright ceiling.

"D-did her eyes just open?!"

"Quick! Get the doctors! Go get Dr. Kal'tsit too!"

Voices that she couldn't recognize. They felt familiar to her, but she couldn't place where exactly she's heard them from.
