(just a friendly reminder, i havent made an irl friend since 2nd grade so idfk how people start talking..)

Finney waved to Robin as he left his house, not surpised to see his dad standing behind him as Finney shut the front door.

"Was that your little friend?" Terrance grumbled. Finney nodded. "Why was he here? you remember what i said about that, don't you?" He spoke with a flat tone.

Finney nodded and mumbled a meaningless sorry.

"Sorry," Finney quickly said, attempting to sound meaningful as he realized his dad wouldn't be too happy from his, what Terrance would call a, horrible apology.

It didn't work as planned.

On Saturday, Terrance headed off to work while Finney and Gwen were left at home.

"Gwen, you hungry?" Finney asked, peaking his head through her door. "A bit," Gwen replied, putting down her plastic doll.

"Alright, I'll make something," Finney replied, walking into the kitchen and deciding what he should make.

As Finney left Gwen's room, she got an idea. She picked up her small dark blue leather bag and headed out her door.

"Finney!" She exclaimed, walking into the kitchen. Finney looked over at her. "Can i go for a walk, I'll be back in like ten minutes I promise," Gwen pleaded.

"Sure," Finney shrugged. Gwen smiled and walked out the front door, being met with Robin, who had his hand raised and ready to knock on the door.

"Uh? What're you doing here?" Gwen asked, frowning. "Finney called," Robin said. Gwen slowly nodded and walked outside.

Gwen waited until she was on a different street to pull her doll out of her bag and toss it into the air. It landed on the ground with a thud.

Gwen picked it and tossed it into the air again. When it hit the ground, there was a snapping noise. Gwen quickly walked towards it, seeing the head popped of.

"Dumb doll," She murmured, picking it up disappointedly.

"Your doll had the same fate as mine," A voice spoke. Gwen stood up and looked to the girl ahead of her, holding a doll without a head, yet there was fake hair glued to it's neck.

"Yup. This was my only one. Not sure what I was expecting from it, honestly. But why is there hair glued to the neck?" Gwen furrowed her brows as she looked at the mess of hair.

"That was my brother. I don't know why he couldn't just glue the head on. I guess it's just unique now," The girl sighed, twirling the hair around her fingers.

"Wow. See these teeth marks?" Gwen pointed to the teeth marks on her dolls arm. "That was my brother," She laughed.

"Yeesh. I accidentally left my old doll in the same room as my brother's friend, he ripped off the head, then all it's limbs," She laughed along with Gwen.

"That poor doll. Uh, I'm Gwen," She said and held out her hand. The girl looked down at it, and smiled even wider.

"I'm Amy!" She said and happily shook it. "I live just right here, you want to see my other dolls?" Amy suggested.

"Oh, I wish i could, but i told my brother ten minutes ago i would be back in ten minutes. Wait here," Gwen said before she ran off back to her house.

"Finney!" She yelled when she got inside. "What?" He called from the kitchen. "I'll be gone for like another hour or something," She told him. "Okay," Finney replied.
