There are some relatives you wish you didn't know were relatives.

{ Y/N's Point Of View }

You were outside with Salazzle, it was now the next day.

"Today is all about doing research on Team Skull!" You exclaimed

"Salaz!" Salazzle said

You walked into the market seeing many older people sitting down, maybe they would know.

"Alola! Could I ask you a question?" You asked

"Alola! Child. What is it?" The woman asked

Her partner seemed to be a Florges.

"Florges!" The Florges said

"Do you have any information on Team Skull, specifically their leader. Guzma." You said

"You're in luck! You do look like him. He used to train with our Kahuna, Hala. And one of the Professors, coconut?... coo? Kukui!" She exclaimed

"That's all?" You asked

"Yes, sorry. Although there are some people in this market who know a lot more than I do about Team Skull!" She smiled as she continued to buy her fruits and vegetables for herself and Florges

"Florges!" Florges said

"Salaz!" Salazzle replied

You ran to the other side to a well-known merchant.

"Alola miss! Hello Oricorio!" You smiled

"Alola Y/N, have you come to buy things?" She asked

"Oricorio! Oricorio!" Oricorio sung

"No, I need information on Team Skull. Especially Guzma." You stated

"Team Skull? That pesky group is very annoying! What do you need to know?" She asked

"I need to know about Guzma's past. Team Skull's past." You replied

"Team skull originated when Guzma found his Admin, Plumeria. She works with him, they founded it to become the best group in Alola!" She laughed

Plumeria, that was her name.

"Salaz?" Salazzle said

"Don't worry Salazzle, here's some fruit for you and your friends!" She exclaimed

She handed you a basket of different Pokémon food.

"Thank you so much! I really appreciate this!" You exclaimed

"Anytime, dear." She said

You continued to walk around the place meeting many new people who told you a lot about Team Skull's grunts but barely anything about Guzma, you'd need to go to Hala's house to learn more.

"Time to go to Iki Town." You said

You began to walk to Iki town, it was quite the far walk.

You caught a bus in the middle of it which was really convenient.

"This is our stop Salazzle." You said

"Salaz!" Salazzle exclaimed

You and Salazzle walked the rest of the way towards Hala's house and knocked on the door.

"Alola Y/N, what brings you here?" Kahuna Hala said

"I need some information on something, preferably Guzma." You stated

"I heard about your battle with him yesterday, I assumed you'd come looking for information. Do you need anything specific?" Kahuna Hala asked as he took a seat

Hariyama stood beside him happily.

"Em... Backstory, maybe?" You questioned

"He had trained with me, one day he got very fed up with it and ran away with his Golisopod saying he'd be the best trainer in the Alola region. That's when he had decided to start Team Skull." Kahuna Hala informed

"How'd he begin training with you, what was his life like before?" You asked

"He had family here who were supposed to move to Johto. A sibling and a mother, I cannot recall what happened to the family though for him to embark here." Kahuna Hala stated

"Did the family have names?" You asked

"No, not that I know of." Kahuna Hala said

You did have a mother who had gotten very ill in the hospital, what happened next was something you weren't told by doctors.

"Thank you Kahuna Hala." You thanked

"Anytime! Say hello to Professor Kukui for me!" Kahuna Hala exclaimed

You walked out with Salazzle and onto the bus that just showed up.

"I wonder who that sibling was, and where are they now?" You said

"Salaz..." Salazzle said

"Maybe if I do some more digging I can find out who that family was, maybe at the local hospital?" You said

You had made it to the hospital and asked to see everyone who was ever admitted and their relatives, it should tell you something.

"Do you have anyone with a relative named Guzma?" You asked

"Yup! It's right here!" She said

"Make sure to return it. We're doing this as a favour, we could get in big trouble if we're caught." Another doctor stated

You flipped through the file as Salazzle stared at intensely.

"Name : Makana.          Status : dead.            Age :  49 years.          Died of : Unknown Illness.          Family Alerted : 1 Member.          Relatives : Guzma, Y/N." You read aloud

Guzma, he- you- you and him were siblings?!

You quickly gave the file back to the doctors and rushed all the way back home as fast as you could and very cautiously.

"Guzma is my brother?!" You yelled

"Saur?" Venusaur said

"Arbok?!" Arbok exclaimed

"Guzma. Like, the Team Skull leader. Guzma, as in one of the most well-known people in Alola. The Guzma." You stated

It all made sense, he knew that you were his sibling. That's why he kept coming for you, and frankly being nicer to you than his own team.

"Did he come to battle me just to see me at school? Did he battle me for no reason? Why did he leave me in the first place?" You questioned

"Toxapex!" Toxapex exclaimed

Naganadel hovered beside you most likely very confused as to why you were so panicked.

How were you supposed to feel? Mad? Sad? Disappointed? I mean, he basically left you in the dust after you mothers death. The one you didn't know about.

You sank into your bed as Arbok curled up around you.

"Do I confront him? Stay away from him? Tell him the next time he goes battling me? What'll I tell my friends?" You asked

Tomorrow was the last day of the weekend so you had plenty of time to re-collect yourself and take a day at home.

"He knew when we ended the first battle we ever had. Does his grunts know? They haven't tried to mess with me in a long while." You stated

"Salaz!" Salazzle said

Venusaur used his vines to grab the fruit basket for him and the other Pokémon to eat while you figure out everything.

Surprisingly you were the first one in bed, you were really tired from all the walking and your mind was tired in general from thinking so hard about everything you were lied to about when you were younger.
