At the surface we find Matilda waking up in her father,Ratchet's arms

Matilda: Dad?

Ratchet: Matilda  I was so afraid we'd lost you. just like your Mother 

He puts her down next to her mother as she hugs her 

Matilda: I'm Sorry Mum

Talwyn:  Oh, no, sweetie. We're sorry. We should have told you the truth. Keeping my mermaid Was bad idea 

Matilda: I didn't mean to hurt anyone. I just hoped I'd be a better mermaid than a girl.

Talwyn: Oh, Matilda, sweetie, it doesn't matter if you have fins or feet. We love you for who you are on the inside: Our very brave little girl.

Ratchet: it be okay when I see your Mum as mer mazrkazian 

Max: Just like your mother.

Matilda: Grandfather 

Max: I don't blame you for wanting to join us merfolk. And because you're my granddaughter... I'm giving you a most precious gift: A choice. You can come to Atlantica with me...or you can return to your home on land. It's up to you.

Matilda: (thinks it over for a bit) I have a better idea.

At the shores of Pokitaru, we find Matilda with her grandfather's trident as she uses it to remove the sea wall as we find her parents, and the people of the heroes and Eve present to reconnect with the merfolk of Atlantica

Matilda: Now we can all be together! Right, Squirtle?

Bloom: Squirtle!

Ratchet: that's my girl 

(Here on the Land and Sea song)

( Matilda excitedly pounces to her grandfather as they fell down to the water, while Ratchet picked up Talwyn and they both jumped into the water to join the excitement)

Matilda: Come on in! There's plenty of water for everyone!

Matilda friends they jumped into the water to join the fun too. We see Tlawyn and Matilda floating beside each other
