Prologue - A Hot Topic chat

A/N: If you didn't watch the Sonic drone home short film then I advice you do. If was a little funny

Sonic just got to the chilidog stand with his best friend 'Tails'.

There he sees his childhood friend Rika Flora 'who was in some sort of Grim Reaper costume with no scythe' entering Hot Topic with her Sister and best friend 'Julia Andrews'.

Sonic turn to Tails and said, "Can you hold my spot? I'll be right back buddy."

Tails nodded as Sonic sped to the girls. He entered Hot Topic as he said, "Geez this place is even edgier on the inside. No wonder the girls like it here."

Thats when he sees the girls at the clothes section. Rika turn to Julia and said, "Say Jewel, you think the ghostface mask will do or should I do a Jason Voorhees style mask?"

Julie replied, "Rika look at my point of view. If you do the Jason Voorhees hockey mask then everyone will think your going for a cult cloak version of the Friday the 13'th's main killer. But if you go for the Ghostface mask then go for it."

Rika chuckled and said, "Whoa. Oh my fucking God Jewel your a spook-tacular genius."

Julie said with a giggle, "Not a prob Sis." Thats when Sonic said as he walked to them, "Geez malady didn't I say no cursing?"

Julie waved to him and said, "Oh whats up Sonic? We didn't think we see you in here."

Rika chuckled a little and said, "And what's with the 'malady' quote? Did you get that like from the Ladybug and Catnoir series?"

Sonic replied, "Nope just wanted to say it. I was gonna order chili dogs when I saw you both. I thought I came back and chat with you both. So what's going on?"

Rika replied with a smirk, "Me and Jewel are heading to the classic horror film festival at the fair ground of Green-hills. But we had to stop by here to see if we can get some accessories to complete our costumes. You wanna come with us? It be fun. We'll ride some super cool rides with the worlds classic killers on them, they have a dude that dresses as the classic Pennywise at the ticket booth, we may also play this game called the Whack-The-Chucky Doll (which is sort of like whack a mole), and we can eat some chili-related stuff. They have Chili-cheese fries and Chilidogs stand there with a friend of Jewel's that dresses as Freddy Kruger."

Sonic chuckled and said, "Oh man I love to join you girls on your spook fest, but I haft to get back to the Chilodog stand and get home."

Julia replied, "That's understandable." Then a familiar voice said, "Hey Sonic. if your done talking to the Andrews sisters we gotta get going."

Sonic then looked to see Tails 'with a bag of chilidogs in his hand'.

Sonic replied, "I'm almost done Tails." Thats when Tails said to he girls, "Hey Ms. Andrews. Hey Rika."

Julia playfully said, "Well if it isn't Foxy The Pirate Fox."

Tails chuckled and said, "Good one Ms. Andrews. But I'm not a pirate nor am I a red Fox."

Julia replied, "Yeah I'm just playing but don't get formal Tails. You can call me Julie or Jewel."

Tails simply said, "Okay." Rika frowned and said, "Speaking of 'red'. Where is that Grouch-ass brute at?"

Sonic then said, "Rika please! Language! Your in front of a child."

Tails replied to Sonic, "Thats okay Sonic. Rika's bad words don't effect me."

Sonic then answered Rika, "To be honest. We kinda left him at the junkyard." Rika asked, "Junkyard? What were you doing there?"

Sonic told the whole story of what happened. Once he finished Julia said, "Oh boy. Let's just hope the library doesn't charge Mrs. Wachowski a large fee. Cause that happened to one of Wade's nephews."

Sonic raised a brow and asked, "Nephews?" Rika replied, "Yeah. Didn't he tell you? Wade has 5 nephews that lived here since they're parents died years ago or so I heard."

Sonic said, "Whoa thats cold. Not as cold as the mountains Tails and I were at."

Rika was gonna ask a question but Sonic replied before she can answer, "No I didn't see a yeti at the mountains."

Then Julia was gonna ask before Sonic answered before she can ask, "And no, I didn't see a white Japanese's ghost lady at the mountains either."

The two girls said, "Aww man!" Rika then asked, "So Tails did you hear about some spooky stuff here before you arrived here?"

Tails answered her, "Only the spooky dark castle with the ghosts."

Rika gasped excitedly and said, "We knew it. It is haunted."

Sonic chuckled and said, "Well I love to stay and chat gals but we gotta get going. See you girls." The girls waved goodbye as Sonic and Tails exited.

The girls continued shopping until they paid for their accessories and walked out. Rika put on her ghostface mask and said, "This is super cool. Hey if there's a dance floor. Should we do the monster mash or the Wednesday Adams dance?"

Julia replied, "A little of both. Hey Rika did you hear about the F.C.F.A. coming here?"

Rika asked, "You mean that agency with those lady-like butt kicking chicks? Oh hell yeah. These girls act like fancy girls yet they kick criminal butt. Talk about Pride, prejudice, and Zombie." Julia chuckled and said, "Oh yeah. That is definitely Pride, Prejudice, and Zombie there."
