Once the two entered the cave, Knuckles looked at Sonic and asked, "Sonic, if there was one chance you would meet your birth parents, what would you see them as?"

Sonic hesitated before he answered, "I don't know. My older brother kept saying he's a warrior. All he and LongClaw say about my Mother is that, she was beautiful both inside and outside. If I have a chance to meet them, I would probably see them as he did."

That's when Knuckles sees someone about 10 feet away from them before he asked, "Who goes there?!"

Sonic looks at Knuckles before he sees who it is. He gasped in surprise.

It was the same hedgehog woman in a cloak from the mountains.

Sonic said to Knuckles, "Knux! That's her. She's the one who gave me the medallion. She's the hedgehog woman I saw in the mountains."

Knuckles looks at her. No doubt she was the one Sonic had described.

The blue hedgehog looked at her for a moment before the two walked to her.

The mysterious hedgehog woman looked at Sonic with sympathy.

She thought softly, "Thank Goodness..."

Once they stopped in front of her, Sonic asked, "Alright listen. Just who are you? And what do you want with me?"

The hedgehog woman said nothing.

Sonic catches a glimpse of both of her eyes. One was blue just like his brothers but the other was undoubtedly green just like his.

The woman placed a hand on his shoulder and said softly, "Please... Seek her."

Sonic asked in confusion, "Seek her? Who? What are you talking about?"

That's when she said to Sonic, "You must find her. After the clock hits 12:00. Tomorrow. But right now, seek the truth, accomplish the tasks, and find what you seek behind the doors."

She removed her hand from his shoulder before turning around.

Sonic said as he took a step, "W-wait!!"

She walked off to another path of the cave as Sonic and Knuckles followed her.

Knuckles said, "Holt!"

Sonic then said again, "Wait!"

When they reached the path, she was nowhere in sight.

Sonic asked as the two looked around, "Again, where did she go?"

Sonic felt his head as Knuckles pointed to 2 closed stone doors.

Knuckles and Sonic walked to the doors as Sonic asked, "You think she went in there?"

Knuckles asked, "You don't see any other entrance she coulda gone to, do you?"

Sonic answered, "No I don't. But you maybe right."

He then asked, "What did she mean by 'accomplish the tasks'? Am I missing something?"

Knuckles answered, "Who knows? But it's a possibility she knows about your past somehow."

Sonic thought about it before he said, "You said this maybe a possible opportunity to find out about myself and there's more to me than I would think."

Sonic then asked, "What do you mean?"

Knuckles answered a little softly, "My Great-Grandfather once told me this before he passed away. Anyone who has visions just like yours may have a connection to the past. That they play a sudden or supposed role that shoulda happened in the past."

Sonic asked, "So you think that palace fallen and that Noctrunus attack. You think I have a connection to it?"

Knuckles answered, "Probably."

That's when Sonic sees something in the middle of the doors. It was a star shape but with seven points.

Knuckles looks at the doors and said, "That woman was asking you to do something alright but she seemed like she known you."

Sonic looked at him before looking down and said, "I don't have the foggiest idea who she is, Knuckles. But I did feel like I known her before but I don't remember. But her eyes. Both of them. One of them has the same color as mine and the other. It was blue, just like my brothers."

Knuckles had an unknown hunch but he thought as he looked at Sonic, "She needed Sonic for sure. She knows something but what could it be?"

Sonic then said, "We may need to find the keys or something to unlock these doors. There's no use starring at the door and doing nothing."

Knuckles nodded in agreement. The cave was like one of those minds with blue lights hanging though they have 7 paths.

Sonic had a hunch while looking at them as he muttered, "Something about that woman makes me feel sympathetic. But how?"
