It had been a few hours since my attack and now I laid in bed, still confused about what had happened a few hours prior. I pet my cat, Zenobia, while staring at the ceiling before she suddenly stood up and slowly walked over to the window beside my bed
My brows furrowed when I heard her hiss, since she only does that when she feels threatened or feels an unknown presence. She feels threatened..?
I quickly sat up before looking outside my window, carefully scanning the area outside. I froze once I saw a pair of crimson red eyes, then 2 pairs of grey eyes, then 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 pairs of golden eyes; hiding behind the trees. I shut my blinds in a hurry before running into my closet, bringing Zenobia with me. I placed crystals on the floor of the closet to form the shape of a circle before stepping inside of it with Zenobia in one hand and a protection candle in the other
I sat down in the middle of the circle and placed Zenobia in my lap before lighting the candle, placing it infront of me. I closed my eyes and started whispering the words of a protection spell while placing my hands palm up on my knees. The spell I casted is supposed to give Zenobia the power to transform into another animal, but only with the intentions of protecting me.
I opened my eyes and looked down at Zenobia, placing a small kiss on her nose before blowing out the candle. I put my crystals and candle back before kissing the charmed amulet my grandmother gave me before she passed, calmly leaving my closet

"Yoshi, I think we scared her" Haruto said as he scratched the back of his neck
"Shit, I'd be scared if I saw 12 men standing outside my house" Hyunsuk added, side eyeing the silent Yoshi next to him
"How the fuck did we end up outside of some witch's house anyways?" Jihoon asked, his arms folded across his chest as he gazed up at the now covered window
"She's not just some witch, she's my mate. I already said that." Yoshi said impatiently, irritated at the fact he couldn't see his unrequited love anymore
"So what you're saying is that, because of that dumb prophecy some guru from Solemn Cliff gave you; you're gonna stalk this girl?" Yedam said in short, all eyes now facing Yoshi
"Fuck, off." Yoshi warned, eyes still attached to his mate's closed window
"No I understand what Yedam's saying, we've been watching this girl for 4 months now and she saw you for the first time; today" Junkyu looked Yoshi up and down, his lips pouted due to frustration
"And we'll keep watching her until it's time for me to bring her home, I still have to deal with Hallie and her bullshit"
"I don't know why you still bother with her, it's not like you guys are bound. Both your inner wolves have refused to bond, it's pointless" Asahi mentioned, knowing Yoshi had heard it a hundred times before
"You guys'll piss him off just quit it, let's get back to the pack before they start looking for us. First one to beat me gets my catch tomorrow," Doyoung inserted, starting to sprint back home; the rest of the boys following behind him
Yoshi glanced at the window once more before ultimately turning away, running after the boys who were now far ahead
