My leg shook restlessly as I decided whether or not I should tell my friends about what had happened the day before, contemplating the consequences of my actions
"Guys, you really won't believe what I'm about to say" I blurted out, gaining the girls attention
"Spill bitch," Patricia quickly said, causing Scott to remove his AirPods from his ear and close his textbook
"You know that thing I was talking about? The thing that saved me the other day?" Everyone nodded their heads, encouraging me to keep talking
"Well after school, when I got home, this nigga was in my room; sitting on my bed, and told me I was his mate and some weird shit" I went on to narrate what had happened the day before, watching my friends' expressions as I talked
"FOUR MONTHS?!" Patricia yelled, Sydney quickly pinching her to make her be quiet
"Ion know bout y'all but, that shit sound hot as fuck" we all turned our heads to look at Sydney in disbelief
"Imagine a tall dark skin stalking you-"
"He ain't even black, his name is Yoshi" I laughed, stopping Sydney before she could say anything else, knowing she would end up saying something weird
"Ooh that's Japanese right?! Well is he hot at least?" Patricia asked
"I mean..." I smirked as Scott and the girls started to playfully nudge me
"But wait, what type of werewolf is he?" Scott asked as he leaned in curiously
"I don't know, but his eyes turn red"
"It sounds like he's an alpha wolf, you in some deep shit now" Sydney stated, making me anxious
"The fuck you mean by that?" I fussed, gripping onto her arm
"Girl, them alpha niggas are the exact example of toxic" Scott replied before Patricia interrupted
"Yea I heard! He's probably gonna want to make you a part of his pack"
"How's he gonna do that if I'm not a wolf?" I questioned, my brows furrowing
"As long as you're his mate, you'll be tied to his pack" Sydney warned, the anxiety I already had starting to build up
"But don't worry bookie, we won't let him take you" Patricia reassured, noticing my worries expression
"My dad gave me some money, let's go get Jack in the Box" Scott said, dragging my arm as we all began to walk to the fast food restaurant

Yoshi watched Natalie and her friends as they walked away from the bench they were sat at, Jihoon and Hyunsuk behind him
"But you know they're right, her friends. If she's really your mate we'll have to bring her to our pack" Jihoon blurted out, standing still behind the younger
"How will the pack react though? She's not one of us" Hyunsuk added, causing the blond haired boy to turn around
"If I am the pack's leader they will trust me, it doesn't matter if she's one of us or not. She's my mate." Yoshi announced sternly, annoyed at the constant badgering and questioning. He knew it was true, that he would have to eventually bring Natalie back to his pack, but he knew she would not agree to it. I mean who would agree to moving in with someone they barely knew?
He knew he would have to get her to warm up to him before he could even mention bringing her to his pack, and he knew that wouldn't be anytime soon either
"With due time, she will become a member of our pact. Until then, I don't want to here anything else about this topic" Yoshi shoved his way past his two older friend, running his hand through his hair as he walked off into the deep forest; them chasing after him
