It's been two weeks since Peter escaped, he hasn't trusted anyone yet but he's been able to understand English, thanks to Sam. But He doesn't like speaking English so he just speaks Russian Most of the time besides around Ms.Celia the owner. She says that he will start school tomorrow since he is only 14 years old. And legally he has to go. Peter stays in his closet most of the time there. There are more kids, their ages are 4-14. He helps take care of them When Ms.Celia Is out partying. Peter found some silk white gloves and he has kept them all ever since ,to try to keep people and himself safe. He keeps his wings hidden under a coat, so no one knows.
At Avengers tower.
Tony is down at his lab. He's been their for awhile, because where else would he be.
"Sir, Pirate has requested a meeting in 5 minutes Mr.Stark." FRIDAY says.
"I don't care FRIDAY, mute" He says. "Boss he said it's important"FRIDAY states. "Mute" Tony repeats.
After moments of silence Tony continues working.
Until someone taps on his shoulder, Tony screams and tries to hit the person with a wrench. "Tony." Stephen says. "Holy shit Stephen! You scared the shit out of me!" Tony says. "We are supposed to be in a meeting right now." Stephen says sternly. "Whattt really? I never knew." Tony says smirking. "Tony, i told FRIDAY to tell you, but you put her on mute." Tony looks away "I don't know what your talking about" he says smiling. Stephen sighs and drags Tony through the portal he made to get in.
"Ah Stark, So nice of you to join us." Fury says sarcastically. Tony rolls his eyes and sits down. Then the rouge avengers walks in and Tony sits up. "What are they doing here?!" Tony says angry. "They are here. To help you with a mission." Fury says. "What mission." Tony says irritated. "To catch the Glitch spider." Steve interrupts "you mean that the glitch spider is out in the world?! The most dangerous HYDRA agent is free." Fury looks at him "Yes Captain, that is what i was getting to, The Glitch Escaped and killed the base he was in, My agents found the base with all the dead bodies still there nothing else was damaged besides a window and We believe he is here in New York."
Tony scoffed and stood up "well if that's all Me and Stephen has places to be." He begins walking out with Stephen until fury says something " We are meeting back here tomorrow at 12:30 pm don't be late Stark." He says. Tony walks away with out a word with Stephen next to him. Fury says something else "Also the Rouges will be living at the tower with you Stark so be prepared." Tony was about to turn around and say something but Stephen calmed him down and they walk away without a word.
They walk into the elevator "FRIDAY to the garage please" Tony says.
The places they have to be is the orphanage to adopt a kid. They both agreed to adopt a kid.
They get to the Car and start driving there.
At the Orphanage
Peter is up in his room, Reading a book. He had to miss the first day of school to help clean this place.
All the kids are downstairs waiting in their rooms.
He hears footsteps and talking so he concludes the people are here. After 5 minutes a knock is heard on his door. Confused he walks over and opens it to Sam. "The people are here Peter, they want 13-15 year olds so let's go" They says fake smiling for the people. Peter nods his head and comes out in a big sweater and sweat pants, he follows Sam into the room being the only the one Sam stays in the door way. He doesn't recognize the people. The short one speaks and says "is this everyone?" He says confused
"Yes Mr.Stark this is all we have in those ages." Ms Celia says with a fake Smile. The tall Man starts speaking "Alright-" he turns to Peter. "What's you're name?" Peter stands there puzzled he can only understand English not say words right. The short man says something else "Can he speak?" Ms Celia gets angry and turns with a big big smile "yes he can, Right child?" She says. Peter just stands there confused. Until Sam finally steps in "His name is Peter." The tall man looks over at Sam "And who are you?" He says. "My names sam 12, they/them and I'm peters friend, Peter can only understand English not speak it." The tall my nods in a understanding manner. The short man pipes up "Well You should know me, The Tony stark, Genius-" the tall man cuts him off "And I'm Stephen Strange, May i ask what language do you speak?" Peter blinks and says "Русский" (Russian). Sam looks at Peter and then The others "He Speaks Russian" Mr. Stark nods and says something about a decision and walks off with Ms. Celia. Stephen stays with Sam and Peter. It's awkward.
Peter is just confused as ever and Sam notices, they whisper " Peter youre about to be adopted!" Peter looks up with no emotion "так?" (So?). Sam looks at him like he is crazy "So?! You're about to be adopted by the most riches and famous people ever!" Peter looks at them "а также?" (And?) Sam gives up And then Mr. Stark and Ms.Celia walks back in. "Go pack your things Peter, You leave in 5 minutes." Ms. Celia says. Peter nods and walks up to his room followed by Sam. "Congrats Peter! Your out of this hell hole" Sam says laughing a bit. Peter grabs his other sweater Cause that's all he has. Sam realizes and they frown.
Peter walks back down stairs with his other hoodie in head. "Is that all you have Peter?" Stephen says concerned a bit. Peter nods his head yes. Tony seems suspicious but brushed it off and finishes talking with Ms. Celia about the adoption. "Peter would you like to come to the car with me?" Stephen says with a smile. Peter doesn't answer but just walks beside him so Stephen takes that as a yes and leads Peter to the car. He opens the door to the back seat for Peter and when Peter gets inside he walks to the drivers seat and gets in. Moments Tony gets in the car. They start driving in silence neither adults not knowing what to say. After 30 minutes Stephen speaks up "So Peter, when we get to the tower we will lead you to your room and then introduce you to the team-". Tony cuts in " And the rouges". Stephen cuts his eyes at Tony. "What?" Tony says "the rouges are part of the team still Tony." "we are not talking about infront of Peter." Tony spits.
They arrive at the compound. Happy is there and opens the door for them. And is surprised to see no bags. "Come on Peter, we will bring you to your room." Stephen says. Peter follows them into the elevator. "FRIDAY floor 73 please" Tony says.
They go up and Peter is confused and why Tony talked to the celling.
They arrive to the floor and led Peter to a room. "Peter this is your room/ floor, if you need anything ask FRIDAY , we are two floors above you if you need anything else, we will let you get comfortable and FRIDAY will call you down when you are ready to meet everyone, okay?" Tony says. Peter nods and then Tony and Stephen leave.
