House of Wittelsbach-Bavaria
They are a German dynasty that branched off to other territories quite often. The House of Windsor is actually descended from them as well. They held the title of Kings of Bavaria, but in the time TWQ takes place they were only the Dukes of Bavaria. The Kingdom of Bavaria was created in 1855.

House of Piast
The House of Piast were first the Dukes of Poland, then later Kings of Poland. By the time of TWQ they no longer ruler Poland however. They did still hold the title of Dukes of Mazovia a historical region of today's Poland. Rulers you may have heard of are for example Bolesław the Bold, Casimir III the Great, Henryk II the Pious.

House of La Marck
They were a German noble family and the Dukes of Cleves. At the height of their power they held 4 duchies in total: Julich, Cleves, Berg and Guelders. Henry VIII's fourth wife, Anne of Cleves, came from this house.
