Choosing a faceclaim you like can be difficult. I would know, I spend hours on it. Is it because I have so many books in my drafts that I'm running out of viable faceclaims to use? Perhaps 😃

But anyway, you want to chose a faceclaim that actually looks like the OC you're describing. I don't know how many times I've seen someone use a brunette actress and then describe the OC as blonde in the next chapter. It honestly sends me reeling because I don't know how to imagine the OC when that happens.

The eye color doesn't really matter much, no one really registers eye color when looking at someone unless their eyes are very prominent.

All in all, a faceclaim is your own choice, it should be someone you can truly visualize as your character and you should probably be set on it when publishing the book and not change it mid way through.

But even then, I will not accept Adelaide Kane as your OC. Why? Because there are about 383939399384847484839200101934 books with her as a faceclaim and I'm of kidding when I say I usually don't even click on these stories anymore. The only time I would is when it's a fandom with very little fics, which I guess TWQ kinda is. Another reason is because she's kind of basic at this point, it ties in with how many people have used her as a faceclaim. I don't mind her as a faceclaim if the character she is being used for is a side character however, because they aren't the main focus of the story.

Anyways, here are some faceclaims you can use:
Note: names that are underlined are faceclaims that have been used in the fandom before, names with * at the end are actresses that had played in shows that succeed TWQ (i.e The White Princess, The Spanish Princess, Becoming Elizabeth) those that are both underlined and have a * fit into both categories.

These are all still relatively popular faceclaims, but they are most definitely less used than Adelaide Kane (I honestly find most reign faceclaims annoying but I'm willing to accept them if they aren't Adelaide).

All of these women are absolutely gorgeous and can most definitely fit into your TWQ book!

I'm probably going to make another chapter for less popular faceclaims and also male faceclaims, but these are the ones I came up from the top of my head.
