Part 3

The first day of senior year has arrived. Y/N rode to school alone, something she hasn't done for as long as she could remember. As she parked her car she saw Issac and Natalie step out of her car and begin to make out. "Ugh!" screamed Y/N. She heard a knock on her window and turned her head to see Jenna smiling at her. Jenna looked over at Issac and Natalie now with her brows raised. Then looked back at Y/N.

   Y/N stepped out of her car, shut the door, and locked it. "Are you okay?" Jenna asked. "I could ask you the same. You seemed pretty pissed the other day at the cafe," Y/N mentioned.

   Jenna rolled her eyes, "That cheater scumbag fuckboy. I hate men."

   "Yeah.." Y/N replied still eyeing the couple. Then suddenly an idea popped into her head. An idea she had when she was walking around after the cafe. "Hey, Jenna? Would you be down to do something that'd probably benefit us both?" Y/N hopefully asked with puppy dog eyes.

   Jenna was suspicious. "What?" she asked unsurely. "What if we like...I don't know. Pretended to date to make Logan and Natalie jealous?" Y/N spoke trying to read Jenna's reaction to her prompt.

When she saw Jenna's eyebrows furrow, she got embarrassed, "Or maybe just pretend to be best friends. I don't know. This was stupid. I'm sorry."

   "Stop saying sorry. I'm just thinking," Y/N was relieved she didn't scare off the girl.

"If we're going to do this, we have to pretend to date. Not just be best friends, because how would that benefit my situation," Jenna stated matter-of-factly.

Y/N's face brightened and she hugged Jenna.

   "Thank you thank you thank you," Y/N beamed while spinning Jenna around. She was so glad Jenna agreed.

"Okay okay. Put me down people are staring," Y/N put her down and she could've sworn she saw Jenna blushing.

"If this is going to be believable, we need to be affectionate like this.... babe,"  Y/N said bending down to be face-to-face with Jenna. They were holding eye contact and Y/N for sure saw Jenna blushing.

   Their staring contest was interrupted by someone clearing their throat. Y/N stood up straight and saw Natalie with her arms crossed and Issac with his arm around her shoulders.

  "Oh hey guys," Y/N smiled.

  "What are you doing?" Natalie asked while eyeing Jenna.

  "Guys, I would like for you to meet, Jenna, my girlfriend," Y/N smiled brightly, but she was so nervous on the inside.

"Your girlfriend? Are you serious Y/N? When did this happen?" Natalie questioned her aggressively.

Luckily the two girls were saved by the bell because this freshly fake relationship had too many holes.

   "I'll tell you about it later, Nat. Can't be late on the first day," Y/N said while putting her arm around Jenna and walking into the school.

   "That was close," she whispered to Jenna. "Yeah, very close," Jenna said quietly.

   "Can I see your phone?" Y/N asked Jenna when they got to Jenna's locker. "Sure," she handed her phone to Y/N.

   Y/N handed back her phone after a couple of minutes. "Here you go...babe," she got close to Jenna's face again making the latter's face go red for the third time today. But once she saw Y/N's smirk she shoved the girl's face back with her hand, rolling her eyes.

  "What did you do to my phone?" she asked trying to change the subject. "I put my number in," Y/N gave a toothy grin.

   "We should meet after school to go over the details of this agreement," Jenna suggested, "unless you want your girl to question us like that again when we arent prepared."
