Morning came slowly but only because Eren didn't sleep. She stayed awake thinking and worrying. She worried about Erik, herself and most of all Namor. He left so fast she didn't get to explain.

"My queen!" Eren marched up to the woman who ruined her moment, "Ah Eren!, There you are, I was just about to come talk to you about the wedding". Eren's heart stung at the words, "There will be no wedding, I did not agree to it".

Queen Ramonda chuckled "Why not? Do you not love my nephew? You two are so close", Eren struggled to find the words to explain how she felt. "It's not that I don't love him, it's just a brotherly type of relationship. I don't want to burden him with my presence when I know he could love another.", Ramonda sighed "Are you sure, I wanted Erik to marry a strong woman..or man. And you, Eren, I want you to find the perfect person".

Eren thought about what she was to say, "I don't think I'm allowed to love anyone, what's the point if I'll just outlive them". After that came out of her mouth the memory from last night snuck into her mind. Namor telling her about the price of her life, why would he do that?Why would he bond her soul to his?. Doesn't he know that if somehow she dies he does too, death will not part them, it'll tie them even more together.

The queen smiled knowingly "What about King Namor?", her heartbeat picked up after hearing the name. "Isn't he immortal?" She continued, Eren played with dress "I..He ages slower than the average human yes, but I don't know..do I even deserve his love..or yours?". The queen, without saying anything, threw her arms around Eren. "Please don't tell me you believe that!, my dear girl, you deserve all the love in the world!. I'm sorry I was hasty yesterday, I was just worried about you, when they said you had stopped breathing..I don't know..I realized I don't want you to be alone if something were to happen again" she admission. Eren hugged her back "I'm ok my queen, I thank you for all that you and your family have done for me but I don't think I'll ever be alone again".

She thought of Namor's confession, "I need to go, I'll be back later" she walked towards the door and walked out. Heading to the lab she waved at shuri, "Good morning Eren, how are you feeling?". "Thirsty, I need a device that can help me breathe underwater" she stated plainly, shuri was taken aback not only by the request but also her sudden determination to swim.

Everyone knew Eren didn't like the ocean very much, so much unknown in such a vast and dangerous environment. "Here, I've had these for a while but found little to no use for them" Shuri opened her tables drawer and passed the invention to her friend.

"Tell him hi for me" she smirked, Eren rolled her eyes while taking the device. "Thanks shuri, see ya later" she waved while climbing up the stairs to get to the sunroof. Feeling her wings appear, she flew through and headed towards the nearest river. Putting the small device over her mouth and nose she dived into the cold water.

Being bonded to another means always having a sense of their whereabouts, which meant she knew exactly where he was. She swam so long until she reached a cave opening, her heart raced as she climbed through the dark and small crawl hole. Her anxiety only grew when she could no longer see the light, luckily the exit wasn't far.

She come out trying to catch her breath, looking up she saw the blurry cave ceiling. She emerged out of the water, crawling onto the rough stone floor. "I was wondering when you'd come to explain yourself", her sight cleared and she was able to see who was talking. Namora stood holding a spear and staring down at her.

"Oh thank gods, a person, I'm tired of seeing fish" she held out her hand, Namora took it and helped her up. "Aren't you supposed to be planning a wedding with Erik or something" she grumbled, "No the whole engagement thing was fake, the queen was just..paranoid. Erik and I don't feel that way towards each other, promise".

Namora felt a weight left from her heart, "Do you uh..know if he likes anyone". She led Eren to her cousins chamber without even realizing it, "Why?do you like him?" Eren bumped her shoulder jokingly. Namora couldn't stop herself from smiling, "Do you like Namor?" She shot back avoiding the question. Now it was Eren's turn to feel embarrassed, "Maybe, I'm still trying to figure out everything".

They made it to his hut, "He should be in there". Eren nodded "Thank you, Namora. I brought this hoping I'd run into you", she dug into her pocket and placed a beaded bracelet into Namora's hand. "What's this?" She asked holding up. "It's a communication tool, it has Erik's number on it so you can talk to him even down here. He's waiting" she winked, Namora laughed with happiness and embraced her friend.

They said goodbye and went their separate ways. Eren stood outside the hut pondering what to say, she could here movement inside so he was clearly in there. It's now or never

Let's hope he's willing to hear her out
