Before coming to Rain City, Lisa was viewed to hold equal chances of placing first as Tzuyu and Yuna for the 500 meters event. This was due to her excellent results for recent competitions.

However, after learning about Jungkook's condition, Coach Park no longer placed high hopes in Lisa. It was enough her if Lisa did not give up halfway through the race.
