Chapter 14.
-Cole's P.O.V-
I struggled as hard as I could to break free from Courtney, my back was against the wall, and she was practically gluing her body to mine. Her arms were clung to my neck, but my actions only encouraged her to kiss even deeply.
I heard gasping, from the corner of my eye, I saw the same crowd that followed Courtney just now, they're mouth forming an "O" shape. Some girls were whispering among themselves. And the guys were having a sour look on their faces, probably thinking that I had already taken the new girl.
The reason why I'm seeing all these is because I wasn't closing my eyes and enjoying the kiss like in movies or stories.
No, this is nothing like that.
I gripped onto Courtney's shoulder and push her away with all my strength like there was no tomorrow.
"What was that for?!" I roared. I rubbed my lips frantically, trying to get the taste of her lipstick off my mouth. Its tastes horrible. I don't even know how women can survive with these products.
Courtney still seemed dazzled from what had happened in that few seconds, not few, more like 30 seconds. She came back to life when she realized I was mad at her, "Don't be like that!" She whined flirtatiously. Some girls from the crowd seemed to be annoyed by her. Well, high fives y'all buddies.
Her choice of tone was annoying, irritating and on top of all, disgusting.
Yes, her choice of tone. Which meant that she had many tones and she had LOADS of freakish ones. And honestly, I hate all of them.
"Stop it." I said calmly, adding some anger into my voice to show my irritation.
"You used to love it." She stated. That just caused me to blush uncontrollably. But then, I knew gossipers were so gonna spread this around. Thank you so much, Courtney.
I didn't utter a word. Afraid she might blurt out any unnecessary information.
"What's going on in here?" I heard Cassie's voice, I was looking at the ground so I couldn't see how her expression was. Hopefully she did not see the kiss.
Oh no, oh no, oh no.
"They kissed!!" A girl shrieked, answering Cassie's question. You stupid girl, ugh, what the heck do you think you're doing, this information wasn't necessary and the last person to know should be Cassie and you just spoiled it you... ASDF- um what was it the next few letters again? Was it... JKL? I don't remember but whatever.
"We did not!" I fought back. "We totally did." Courtney said, smirking at me while her back still faced the crowd. Come on and give me a break, Courtney.
I looked up at Cassie, her face was full of confusion. Like the what-just-happened-guys. Did she even hear what that girl shouted just now? Was it not loud enough?
"No, no it's not like that Cassie." I explained. Hold on a minute, why am I explaining it to her? It's not like she cares.
"Okay..." She murmured. Man, what's going on inside that little head of hers? Whispers started to fill the hallway again. Some students started to walk away when they come to realize that the drama was over.
Suddenly, she gasped and all I could see was a pair of hands were hugging Cassie's waist from behind. "Hey hun." Jake's head appeared beside Cassie's on her left. "Hey." She turned her face to the left to look at Jake, Jake quickly faced Cassie and their lips met, right timing, bro.
"Someones jealous?" Courtney's said, looking to where I was staring at. "That could
be us, baby Cole." Once again, Courtney smirked at me. Can I punch her face right now?
