It was the first of the month. September 7th, his first day at his new school. Another country, a new environment, and although the brighter side of things wasn't that bright he had to make it look as if he had everything under control, for his family, for his brother, for Lule. It was exactly a year since his first attack and they got worse since then. The question was why?

His father had to move for business. Relocating his law firm seemed like the perfect idea for the whole family, but to Bow, it just seemed like his father's excuse to save their family the embarrassment of his freak son. His older brother Stefan didn't seem too fond of the idea of moving either but here they were here at this new school standing shoulder to shoulder in front of its golden gates, the words "Miller Canes Private High School" in big black letters across it.

" You got your phone?" Stefan asked

"Yup."

" Call me if you're lost or..." Stefan trailed off contemplating whether he should continue the sentence.

"Yeah yeah I know... Now are we going to just stand here or are you thinking of going inside?"

"Yeah, let's um.. Go" He said, taking one last look at his younger brother.

The two entered the gates, along the stone path, around the fountain and up the front stairs.

As they entered the large doors they were greeted with the smell of fresh coffee and pastries from the small school bakery to the left, followed by the front desk and then the large royal looking stairs that sat front and center as soon as you entered. The hustling and bustling of the children and the loud shouts of people meeting their friends bounced off the walls.

Everything was going well; he was unnoticed and unbothered. The receptionist didn't ask him any questions. Stefan did all the talking. He didn't care about the sounds, his headphones were doing a good job of blocking all of them.

Then they were off to the main office to get their schedules etc.

He tried not to think too much of the eyes and louds whispers that he could sense around him but they got too loud for his ears. It's like his headphones became powerless and he could suddenly hear everything around him. His heart had begun to beat in a spiral making this experience ten times worse. He could feel the shaking starting, he couldn't walk, he was stuck... frozen. Everything was too much, too fast, too loud. He wanted Lule. He knew how this was going to end but there was nothing he could do about it. His head was spinning, Everything was blurry.

Then he felt it. Someone of average height had bumped into him. As she put her hands out to wipe off the coffee on his jacket he was brought back. She was like an angel saving him from a nightmare.

"Argh! Oh I'm so sorry"

Her voice was as angelic as it could get. Momentarily, the world stopped and all he could see was her wonderful hazel eyes and light brown hair, along with her dimple very small but cute. The way she waved at him trying to get his attention. Her slightly darker skin tone and the curly hair that flowed down her back contrasted well with the oversized graphic T-shirt, baggy black pants and hightop jordans. She was a work of art.

" Oh hello, I'm Bow. Spelt B-O-W. It's okay." He mumbled, stopping her from wiping the coffee stains off his jacket.

His husky voice had thrown her off and when he took off his jacket it set fireworks in her brain. How could someone look so soft and cute but be so hot? That's when she noticed the distress on his defined face and knew instantly what was going on and why he was standing in the middle of the hallway. His breathing was heavy and he had sweat forming on his forehead and most of all he was shaking. Her heart softened. She had never noticed him before so he must've been new.

" Hi, my name's Luna. Are you looking for the Office? It's that way."

She pointed in the direction of his destination. Taking his hand in hers and gently pulling him along. It was weird how this girl he'd just met didn't make him nervous or scared. Instead she stopped his staggering heart, calmed down his shaking and his body just moved with hers.

His palms were sweaty but she didn't mind. It was like she could feel his pain, like she knew what he was going through. The 5 seconds were magical in both their eyes but it ended abruptly. As his brother came over a look of worry on his face.

" You good bro? I looked back and you weren't following me again. You made me worried sick."

He looked over barely acknowledging Luna's presence.

" Hello, I'm Lun-"

"Yeah, I'm Stefan. Thank you for helping my brother here. We have to go now. Bye"

Stefan then took his hand and guided him through the rest of the way leaving Luna standing looking at their bodies disappearing into the crowd of boisterous students before she was pulled along with her friends soon forgetting about the strange boy in the hallway.
