""...How could you let her die." He looked at his father lying almost lifelessly in the hospital bed.

"Sh-sh-she didn't des-serve i-it" He took a step back before falling to his knees overwhelmed with the thoughts of losing the one thing that kept him alive.

Bow awakened from his nap sweat dripping from his forehead. As he looked down he saw that he was tangled in the bedsheets, nearly about to fall off the bed.

Quickly he got out of bed trying to forget that God forsaken nightmare. A cold shower and two coffees later he headed out the door on his bike. With his book bag on his side he revved the bike's engine and took off.

She was getting up from a late night study session. School had only just begun but her teacher had asked her to help out with tutoring. Usually tutoring took about 2-3 hrs after school but this is Devon we're talking about here. It's either you follow his rules or get suspended after he complains to the teachers.

A lot of people thought that there was something going on between her and Devon for the last year but it was actually just tutoring lessons and Devon trying to take advantage of her as a girl. She never let him be successful with his schemes but who would listen to her. After all, as long as the guy likes you that is all anyone cares about. Most girls just went along with whatever Mr. Blue eyed blond har had to say. And just like his personality his dressing choices were basic qas you could get.

Two hours later she was out the door and off to her favorite spot ever. She found that place when she had just moved here in freshman year. It was her one comfort place. She was lonely and nobody really talked to her but honestly she didn't mind. Back then she loved going to the garden and spending her free time with the birds and trees. Nowadays she barely has time to spend for herself and when she does get to go to the garden during her breaks it felt more like she was trying way too hard to escape her reality.

A lot of people think that being "popular" is fun. But in reality it's like constantly being under a microscope all your actions so closely measured, especially as a girl. She couldn't remember exactly when it happened but it did. Some time between her participating in volleyball and winning for the team, her singing solos for the choir and playing video games with the school's Gaming club. She had taken part in numerous clubs and her academic status was always the best. Truth is when it came to other stuff she just genuinely enjoyed them but with academics she had to do well. She had no choice, she was stuck.

If she couldn't keep her grades up she would lose her scholarship and would have to drop out of school. Her mother wasn't butt poor but she wasn't rich enough to afford private education. But after Luna's outstanding performance in primary school she had proven herself worthy of the country's best school and gained a scholarship.

She arrived at the gates and noticed a black motorbike parked outside. She probably should have paid more attention to it but she didn't even think about it for a second. As she took the stone path to the back hills, she remembered him. She thought for a second how he reminded her of a lost puppy. Behind those green eyes were an array of emotions that wanted to be let out but were being held by the scarred soul. She can relate. And she felt sad that someone felt so locked and alone that they held those thoughts inside for god knows how long.

As she opened the gate she looked up to find two gorgeous green eyes staring back at her. That serious face with its defined features and pink lips. She took a few seconds longer opening the gate. Staring at him was calming and suddenly she felt no pressure from the social and academic people in her life. It was like her problems had evaporated with the wind.

Quickly she strided over to the little creature. He had a look of surprise for a few seconds before it was covered up by his usual poker face. She hadn't seen him smile or laugh from the time he got to this school. It was sad.
