'Tap tap tap' My swift but heavy footsteps are heard in the long and dim hallway. I feel tired, although I can't seem to stop running. My legs are about to give up but adrenaline isn't letting me. My lungs are hurting, every time I breathe in the pain gets worse. I fall to my knees, my legs give out on me. Feeling desperate to not get caught, I crawl to the closest classroom and hide in it. I cover my mouth trying to silence my breathing. I can't seem to calm my breathing no matter what.

I hear the soft clicking of slippers on the clean marbles in the hallway. I hug the corner of the classroom trying not to make any sound. Every minute seems like an hour passing by. There's a rather cheerful humming outside the classroom. I'm afraid that he might hear my heart thumping in my chest. All I can hear is my quiet but fast phase breathing and my heart immensely thumping. I close my eyes shut and bring my hands up to my ears trying to cover his sounds.

"I know you're around here somewhere." He says out loud, taunting me with his deep voice. Though his steps pass the classroom I am in. Relief isn't washing over me as it should have. His footsteps fade away from where I am. I let out the breath that I was holding and put my hands down.

'Tap tap tap' Hearing tapping on the window, my body starts to shake. I can't move at all. My hands start shaking and it starts to feel colder than usual. Breathing heavily, my head leisurely turns up. My body shudders while looking up at his figure through the window. He didn't look sane. He has a crazed grin on his face with his brown eyes staring right through me with a dangerous glint in them.

"Found you."
