The next day went by, Mei still refuses to talk to jay. The usual seats are taken, Mei is still alone ona chair infront of the boys' table.
Fairy Godmother excuses the lesson as she announce something. "Children, excuse me." She walks closer infront of the isle kids.
"Uhm, as you know, uh, this sunday is family day here in auradon prep." She reminded and explains infront of them, surprisingly, they listens to her.
"And because your parents can't be here due to, uh, distance," she reasons. Mei suddenly loses interest to what she was saying when she realised that the annoucement was not input to her.
"We've arranged for a special treat." Fairy Godmother finished as she walks back to where she walks from, and turn to the computer that have a big screen.
She clicks on a key from the computer as a video of the Kids' villain parents. Mainly maleficent was showing her whole face on the screen. "I don't see anything, nor do I hear."
Fairy Godmother calls out for the children to come. The four kids stood up from their seats except for Mei. Jay looks at her for a while before giving up on the pride.
He stands next to her chair so she looks up to him. "You still need to show up to them, you know?" He remind her. The girl just rolls her eyes before shakig her head.
"Nah, they won't care anyways. As long as I help to get the wand, that's all they want to know." She whispers while looking at her sketch and not to Jay.
The boy let out a sigh before thinking about more ways to make the girl come with him. "But we want you to. We don't want you to stay here all alone."
His words made the girl look up to him then to her friends who are already infront of the computer. They nod their head to Mei.
Mei thinks for a while before giving up and so she stood up from her chair and walks to her friends, Jay behind her shows a little winnig smile before following her behind.
"Evie, It's mommy. Oh! Look how beautiful. Oh, you know what they say, the poison apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Evil queen said full of pride as she waves on the screen.
"Don't you mean the weeds?" Maleficent spat back to Evil queen, humbling her. Not even long enough, cruella noticed Fairy Godmother who's infront of the screen.
"Oh! Who's the old bat?" She said as she points at the screen where Fairy Godmother was. Fairy Godmother looses her smile after that statement.
"This is Fairy Godmother." Mal introduced, reminding the villains. Maleficent decided to say something. "Still doing tricks with eggplants?" She asks cockily.
Fairy Godmother did not let it slide specially when the villains let out a laugh. "I turned a pumpink into a beautiful carriage!" She spat back.
But Maleficent did not give up. "You really couldn't give cinderella till one a.m? I mean, really. What, the hamsters had to be back on their little wheels?" Another laugh was heard.
"They were mice! They were not- they were mice." She said while she looks at the kids and Mal excuses the attitude of her and her friends parents and she says her thanks to Fairy Godmother.
"They were mice." Fairy Godmother whispers close to the screen once more before moving out from the view. "Hi, mom." Mal started.
The laugh quickly faded when Maleficent calls out Mal's name, making the girl flinch a little, along with her friends. "I m-m-miss you." Evil queen slaps Maleficent's horn when she cannot say it straightly so their plans wouldn't blows up.
"You children are never far from our thoughts." Jafar said, saving the two villains into their failed act. Though maleficent interfre. "I got it. How long must mommy wait to see you?" She asks Mal.
"Uhm, there's a big coronation coming up. I think something probably after...that." she subtly say since Fairy Godmother was just besides them.
"When?" Maleficent asks.
"Friday, 10 a.m." Mal quickly answered, wanting to end the conversation already since all her mother's caring about is the wand.
"You sure I can't see you before that? I don't know what I'll If I don't get my hands on that magic wand-" she changes the word when she and the other villains shakes their hands in panic.
"You... you little nugget that I love so much." She said with a fake ass smile and laugh. Mal also smiles fakely and she replies. "Yes, I completely understands, mother."
Maleficent then decided to turn her head to the Girl besides Jay, almost on the corner. "And how have you been doing, you little asian princess. Still the little outcast?" She and the other villains laugh.
Mei rolls her eyes secretly but her hands clenched, she hates people noticing her just to make fun of her. Jay looks at the girl besides him as his hand made its way behind her and wraps around her waist.
The girl subtly looks at him. She just shrug knowing the boy just wants to comfort her. "She have been making a lot of friends here. So, I don't think the word 'outcast' fits her very much." He defends the girl.
Maleficent rolls her eyes in response, knowing the boy will always defend the girl. Fortunately but Unfortunate for Carlos, cruella notices the dog on her son's arms as she stammers.
"Carlos, Is that a dog?" She asks while her whole face is showing on the screen. His friends look at him in sadness, knowing that her mom didn't like that.
"Oh, yes, yes, baby, I do understand." Cruella tells her puffed dog toy on her left shoulder as it squeaks. "It would make the perfect size for earmuffs." She then cackles.
Carlos then had the courage to argue back, so he walks infront of the screen and defends his beloved dog. "He's the perfect size for a pet." Cruella flinched from her son's word.
Carlos wasn't done. "This dog loves me, and I love him. And FYI, Your dog is stuffed! So give it a rest!" He finally expressed.
This made cruella flinch more and Jafar laughs. "Oh-ho! Burn!" Jafar said while laughing at Cruella. "Oh! Why don't you go sell a toaster, you two-bit salesman!" Cruella argues back.
The arguement stil continues as the kids on the other line gives up and just listens to their parents arguement, containing their energy to not give up on their parents. Jay then decided to turn off the computer.
Fairy Godmother give the kids a sympathetic look before saying sorry. "Thanks for the special treat." Jay tols Fairy Godmother, not wanting to talk about their relationship with their parents.
"Of course." Fairy Godmother said. Mal was then the first one to walk towards the door, the other following her as they all grabs their bags.
"M? What do you think our parents are gonna do to us if we don't pull this off?" Evies asks Mal as they stopped walking infront of the door.
Her friends wait for her reply. "I think they will be quietly disappointed in us, but ultimately...proud of us for doing our best." She said as she shows a forced smile to Evie.
"Really?" Carlos asks in unbelieved tone. From that, Mal give up on cheering up her and her friends with a fake thoughts. "No, I think we are definitely goners."
They all agrees and let out a sigh from the thought of being a goners. Mal was the first on to leave and her friends follows her from behind.
