Chapter 8: Wolfs out of the Bag

Ray's pov:
I was of course being reckless when I started to drive backwards but I didn't care in the moment till the van started falling along with my friends car. Jeez they were that desperate to kill me? I quickly climb onto the roof of the van and run across it to jump on the other car. I threw rope into their car and attached the end of my grapple hook to the back of the car and tied it around my boomerang and threw it. It went over the bridge pole and swung around a street lamppost as I quickly jumped onto the road and quickly started to pull. But of course I had to be in my Alpha wolf form to actually pull it up. They probably thought they were gonna die well they're wrong cause I'm here! I just need to pray that they use the rope and get out of there.

Norman's pov:
I surely thought we were all going to fall and drown to our deaths but then we all felt the car stop and get pulled on. Then Gilda sees rope that the assassin gave us and we used it to get out. I can't believe I'm saying this but, I'm thankful for us being saved by him. We got on the roof of the car and threw it to wrap around the bridge pole and swung across. When we all got up I turned around to see the assassin pulling his grapple hook while waving to us. My eyes widen in shock from how he didn't leave us to die, wow Ray you were right. He really is like Robin Hood. Then he pulled the car onto the road and transformed back retrieving his grapple hook and boomerang. The assassin was about to leave but Emma yelled out to him.
"Wait! I just wanted to say thank you for saving us." she yelled and bowed with Don and Gilda doing the same
He turned around and threw a piece of paper to me and ran off. We all read the note as I open it.
Take this as a your welcome. Ray's on the way, should be here in like a few seconds. Also please stop trying to kill me, you wouldn't be alive if it were for me. Also hint of who I am, I'm someone you know.
Right as we finished the note, I heard a voice in the distance as I picked up a familiar footsteps ringing in my ears. I shot my head up and see Ray sprinting at us like there's no tomorrow. He stopped in front of us panting a bit and yelled at us.
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! YOU GUYS COULD'VE DIED! YOU'RE LUCKY THE GUY WAS THERE TO SAVE YOU!" Ray yelled clenching his fists
He really cares a lot for us, but Ray always has secrets. I don't want to force them out of him but I hope he'll tell us before it hurts him. Emma ran up to Ray and hugged him.
"We did it to protect you."
Ray's eyes widen from hearing her say this and still proceeded to smack her in the head.
"Antenna idiot, I can protect myself." Ray said as Emma put her hands on her head from the smack
"OW!"
I giggled a bit and noticed that Ray's tail had blue tips that faded into his dark green tips. That's when I figured it out.
"Wow you sure are funny Ray, didn't know you dyed your tips blue." I said crossing my arms death staring into my boyfriends eyes
Emma backed away in shock as the other 3 saw his tail.
"Ray, it's n-not you r-right?" Don asked

Ray's pov:
Darn it! Stupid me! I didn't wash the dye off properly! Not to mention I can feel my makeup removing. Why now of all times?! What can I do? Got it!
I smirked at them and said, "Please of course it's not me. I do it from his orders, why would I go around killing people?"
Norman walked closer to me and continued to death stare me so I returned it.
"Ray, you've realized right? Even your mark is coming off. So tell us what are you?" Norman asked
I put my left hand over my mark and sighed.
"I'm sorry, I really am but I have to. Please forgive me if you can. When we see each other, I already know you guys will hate me." I said as I reached in my pocket for a smoke bomb
Gilda tried to beg me to stop but it didn't work, I don't want them to know this early. But then again, I don't blame them if this ruins our friendship. I threw the smoke bomb and everyone yelled in fear as I karate chopped everyone's necks. I turned into my Alpha form which also gave me my Alpha outfit and turned into my wolf form carrying everyone back to the neighborhood. I quickly went into my home and put everyone in the guest bedroom to sleep. I went to my room thinking of what just happened. I saved them but they found out, what will happen to me? I'll probably carry out my mission and then retire my job as last resort of course. I barely went to sleep.
(The next day in the morning)
I woke up at 8 am and went downstairs to make breakfast for everyone. Hey what else nice thing could I do before my goodbyes to them? I only make waffles and 10 minutes later everyone came down with a serious look on all of their faces. I knew why and I just acted like nothing happened. I quickly put there plates of food on the table without making eye contact to anyone as they sat down and speed walked into the kitchen to eat by myself. I wasn't ready to deal with this in the early morning so I just ate and prepared myself. Then as I went out of the kitchen to go to the bathroom to apply the makeup on, I felt 2 small hands grab my big hand. I knew who it was, Gilda.
"Ray, can we talk please?" she asked with her voice breaking
I didn't bother to look behind me although I felt everyone stare at me in the back of the head. I nodded and pointed to the basement door for them to go in. There was nothing in there other than my own gym with a table and a couch with a projector. I went to the bathroom and applied the makeup and we all went downstairs. It was silent, the type of silence that was uncomfortable but also had a faint sound of a door banging like they wanted answers. When we got downstairs I pulled up a chair and tossed them a rope as I sat down in it with arms going around in the back.
"Do it. Tie me up." I ordered in my cold tone
I looked up at them and they all stare at me terrified and a lot mad. Don Gilda and Emma sighed as they didn't want to but they did it and Norman on the other hand just didn't have a reaction. They tied my hands and then stepped back with shock fear and anger but I already knew what was going to happen in the moment.
"Ray, why did you knock us out unconscious?" Emma asked
"I'm sorry, I didn't want to. I really didn't but I had to because of who I am."
"Wait you're not really-" Don almost asked but I cut him off
"No you idiot I am Ray but this isn't the full version of me." I explained looking at them dead in the eyes
Norman walked up to me and asked me, "Babe, I love you but we already know who you are. I still want the truth so tell us Ray. Who are you?"
He stepped back with a angry glare on his face and I left my head hanging in the air.
"You really wanna know? Fine."
I took a deep breath and smirked a little. That's when a circle of black and red fire circled around me as I lift my head up looking at the ceiling with the air blowing my hair up to reveal my left eye with the Elemental Fire Alpha mark. The rope burned and I stood up still looking at the ceiling as I felt the flames transform me into my Alpha form. I finally looked at them with hands in my pockets and they were horrified, don't blame them.
"R-Ray you were the assassin?" Emma stuttered
"What do you think idiot?"
They were still processing this as the fire circle disappeared and I pulled my collar to reveal my true mark.
"W-why? Why Ray? WHY?!" Norman yelled as he walked up to me and gripped his hands on my shoulders
I stayed silent and Norman started crying into my chest in defeat. I sighed and slowly hugged him not knowing if he was ok with it.
"Honestly I was a bit hurt when I was called 'backstabber' and 'traitor' but I saved you guys because you're my best friends, how could I not save the people I care about? But I already know what you're going to say so go ahead I don't care." I said
"I'm sorry Ray I really am but we just need time to think." Gilda said
"I know, but we all know the answer to that so by the time you answer I'm probably going to have news for you or you can call the police, I don't care. But this is who I am. I'm Ray who has a double life of a assassin or nickname for that would be Raven." I said pulling away from the hug and detransforming
Norman looked up at me and slapped me.
"I know I deserve that." I said touching my cheek
"How are you this calm when you killed people? YOU EVEN KILLED MY UNCLE!" Norman yelled
I sighed and looked down.
"I didn't know he was your uncle and he was blackmailing Omegas, he literally became a millionaire from that! Don't believe my words then you have the right to leave me alone in life and forget about me because I don't care if you do that. Just know I'll always think of you."
After I said that I went upstairs to my room and shut the door and locked it. I already knew everything that I've done in my life would come up to me having to go through this but I didn't want it to be soon. I just sat on my bed staring at the the floor humming my mom's lullaby. Then there was knocking at the door but I didn't answer till I heard the lock click and the door open. It was of course Norman the only one who could lockpick.

Norman's pov:
I was still shocked and angry but, I loved Ray. I could never stop loving Ray. He must've thought we were going to leave him but all 4 of us looked at each other and nodded knowing that we all didn't want to leave Ray. He's our best friend well he's my boyfriend but not the point! I'm saying that we'll never leave him even though he's a assassin. All of us went upstairs and everyone waited out Ray's bedroom as I enter alone after lockpicking it. I saw Ray staring at the floor humming as I sat down next to him.
"Look at me please daddy~"
His face went red from being flustered as he looked away from me. So I moved his face with my hand turning his chin towards me and I kissed him. It was a deep kiss with our tongues in it and fangs biting each other's lips. Tails intertwining as Ray had his arms around my waist and butt and my arms around his neck. We soon pulled away with saliva drippings but but we didn't care.
"Ray I will love you forever. I know you killed my uncle but after you saving us and seeing you save people while killing others, makes me love you even more."
"Heh thanks baby albino~" he said smirking
The others came in and said the same thing I did and promised that we would stay with him and we just hanged out at his house the whole day and had a sleepover. I was cuddling with Ray, we were very happy.
