Chapter 6: Ray's Backstory

Ray's pov:
I didn't exactly have a normal life, see my mom was a assassin and taught me how to steal or use any weapons/gadgets. But she wasn't like the typical assassin you think of where they would kill anyone they meet for satisfaction, my mom was on the run from the police but she was like Robin Hood only going for the bad people and helping the poor. I thought it was so cool how you can be a assassin for good which was one of the reasons why I never got freaked out when it came to any topics related to assassins. But we were always on the run from the police. We always had to move to different places with them being very close to us each time my mom almost got caught. Then we were able to settle down where I still live today, Gracefield. No one suspected us, not even the police so my mom was able to do her job until one day, we both got into a car crash after my mom assassinated one of the higher ups or someone in the government. She died that day while I survived only having my arms weaken a bit. Turns out her best friend in the government knew about Isabella's secret and wanted revenge to end it. From that day, I tried to get revenge for my mom which still didn't happen but, I did want to carry out my mom's legacy of being a assassin for good which brings me here today. I've been working my ways around things to make people less suspicious of me in case if they think I'll become a assassin like my mom. Over the past 6 years I fully recovered and killed many bad people so I'll be getting my revenge soon. Now back with the group, after lunch I decided to put a act on.
"Hey babe I'll be right back ok? I need to get my book." I said kissing Norman's cheek
He gave me a death stare and I returned it as he sighed and let me go upstairs to my room. As soon as I entered my room and locked the door, I smirked and took my phone out of my pocket. You see I already prepared for this kind of situation by making records of fake conversations with me and the 'assassin'. You could call it as talking to myself but it was the ingenious plan to make them off guard. I got into my suit with everything I need and then started the recording. Then I heard footsteps coming so I quickly used a chair to block the door and when the recording was done I quickly opened the window and jumped up to the roof screaming pretending to be 'kidnapped' for the mission. Turns out it worked and I quickly ran on the roofs as fast as I can. Today I was spying on the wolves who work for the government and luckily for me they all live here in Gracefield.

Norman's pov:
Ray was acting weird again so after he went up to his room, I told the others to follow me and we all tried to get into his room but we couldn't. I picklocked it and attempted to open it but it still didn't work. Guess I underestimated the assassin. Then all 4 of us heard talking.
"So Ray was it?"
"Yeah, now tell me what you want freak! We literally met like what yesterday?" Ray yelled
"Oh please I just need your help on spying today."
"Like hell I'm helping you again!"
"Well too bad cause you're coming anyway."
"Wha-LET ME GO YOU JERK!"
Don then bused down the down and we see a figure going up to the roof. We all knew that Ray was sent on another mission. We all ran out of the house and saw the assassin on the roof staring at us. His tail was swaying and we see the assassin's blue fur. It was him alright. It quickly turned into a chase. Emma and Don went to a side of a house and climbed up to chase him down as me and Gilda kept running on the ground to keep up with the other 2. It was very tiring but I didn't give up and just when Emma got close to him, he jumped off of the roof and used his grapple hook to put Emma and Don on the ground as he swag onto a different roof waving bye to us. I was furious and frustrated that we were so close to getting him.
"Darn it! Now we can't save Ray or know where he's going!" I yelled
"Norman calm down, you're the smartest one here. Think of the most likely place the assassin went to." Gilda said
I instantly thought of where he would go, the house of the government. I told the others and we quickly tried to make our way there.
(Fast Forward to 30 minutes later)
We finally arrived and sneaked inside was to see the assassin up near the ceiling. Me and Emma followed him from below while Don and Gilda stayed back in case if anything went wrong.

Ray's pov:
After my little chase with my friends, I ran off to the building secretly regretting having to lie and hurt them when I didn't want to. I got into the building and brought out my scanner which can basically scan people from a far and give me info. I did this to the people I saw and I found the person who set up my mother's death. Her name was Krone, best friends with my mom but secretly hates her. Then I saw Don and Gilda so I knew that I had to make my leave which caused another chase but back to my house which was very unlucky so I had to do one thing. Make one of them unconscious but I didn't want to because they're my best friends.
"Get back here you traitor!" Norman yelled
I threw a smoke bomb at them and just did a karate chop on Norman, making a quick escape. Sorry albino.
"NORMAN!" All 3 of them yelled catching his body
I looked behind me feeling sad but I pushed it aside and jumped back into my room through the window and quickly changed and got rid of any evidence leading me to being the assassin. Then I heard the doorbell and it was my friends, I quickly opened the door and pretended to be mad.
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO HIM?!"
"The assassin made him unconscious." Don said
"THAT DIRTY LIAR! He promised to not hurt you guys!" I yelled almost punching a wall as Don dragged me away from it
"Look Ray, it's not your fault. Norman will be fine and we saw him so where were you?" Don asked
"I was hiding in a different room secretly communicating with him. He just hummed for his answer instead of telling me anything so that backfired." I said
Norman was laying on the couch and everyone went home. I laid next to him and cuddled his body into mine. I'm really sorry Norman but I had no other choice.
