Chapter 5: Not so 'Truth'

Ray's pov:
I made breakfast for us as Norman was hugging me from behind with his face in my chest. Then we sat down once I was done and then Norman asked me something.
"Hey Ray?"
"Hm?"
"Why did you hide being a Omega?"
The question hit me as I just remembered that he saw my fake mark and now thinks I'm a Omega even though in reality I'm the fire Alpha. So I just gave him a cold stare to show I wasn't interested but he stared back at me with a straight face.
I gave up and sighed. I scotched my chair back a bit putting my hands behind my head stared at the ceiling.
"Isn't it obvious? To make sure Alphas don't pick on me?"
He gasped and started to speak, "Ray...."
"You know I don't need your pity albino. I can handle myself, it's just that we have different blood that make up our positions. Not any of our skills which's so f****** stupid."
I looked at him and he smiled and chuckled saying, "Of course that would be your answer. When will you tell the others?"
I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Maybe later today."
"Alright well, you don't have to worry about me hurting you ok?"
I gave him a smirk and said, "Unless if I hurt you first."
Of course I meant my fake rude comments not that I would actually try to hurt him even though now I made him want revenge on me since I'm you know the assassin.
"Wow now you're just being rude."
"What'd you expect? A kiss?"
He blushed at my question and I kissed his forehead.
"You're cute you know that?"
He blushed a bit and I finished my breakfast so I got up and saw that Norman was done so I grabbed his plate as well and washed them both. I felt Norman staring at me so I looked up and I was right.
"What are you looking at idiot?"
"Just....thinking about you know."
He meant how I 'hid being a Omega'. So I just reassured him.
"Hey, I did it for a good cause and I didn't know how you guys would react. Not to mention the bathroom thing happened so I lied saying I was a Beta to avoid that situation again and it worked. Also update on the guy who threatened me, he forced me to help him on his mission. But the weird thing was he told me to return money from Peter Ratri who apparently black mailed many Omegas for money. So the dude's the assassin but he said he's more of a Robin Hood figure rather than a crazy psycho killing people for no reason. Hope that helps with your plan to get revenge on him or something."
Norman was shocked and I already had a feeling he wouldn't listen to me in not getting revenge because I can't control his hatered. Besides I have to keep this lie going and know how Norman plans to get revenge on me as the assassin so I could stop him.
"How'd yo-"
"I can read people babe."
I finished washing our dishes and washed my hands then as I walked over, Norman stood from his seat and grabbed my shoulders yelling at me in anger.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS SOONER? I COULD'VE PROTECTED YOU! HE'S A BACKSTABBER WHO HAS TRICKED AND KILLED MANY PEOPLE! WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S PLAYING THE ROBIN HOOD ROLE?"
I gave him one of my serious glares and gave my reasoning.
"For one he gave people's stolen money back, two I know him so he doesn't really seem to be the 'traitor' type let's say and three I can protect myself. Just because I'm a Omega doesn't mean I'm helpless you got that?"
He gripped my shoulders harder and his eyes were filled with anger as we had a death stare down. I felt very annoyed and a bit mad because I was being treated like a kid when I'm not and it hurts for someone to call you backstabber which's why I was mad.

Norman's pov:
Me and Ray are now in a argument that could drive us apart. I don't want that to happen but I can't stand the thought of him working with the assassin who killed the only family I knew. But I also don't want him to be in danger especially since he's a Omega. We were staring at each other both in anger and annoyance. I gave up as Ray won the stare down and pushed me.
"If you think your own boyfriend is becoming a traitor, you can say it. I don't care. But we're not talking unless if we're with the others." Ray said which made my eyes wide open.
"F-fine then, talk to you later b-ba-"
"Don't babe me now."
Then he went upstairs and I sat on the couch slowly crying. My ears and tail curled up due to my sadness. We just became boyfriends and we're already in a argument. Honestly I might be treating Ray like a kid. We are old enough now to take care of ourselves. Guess I just need to give him space and a bit of alone time.

Ray's pov:
I was still mad from before but I didn't want to blame Norman for being protective over me. All Alphas do that. I went to the upstairs bathroom and grabbed my foundation covering my fire Alpha mark. Once I came out of the bathroom, I heard crying. I instantly realized that it was Norman so I sneaked downstairs and overheard what he was mumbling.
"I know Ray can protect himself but I'm afraid of losing him to the assassin. I love you Ray."
My eyes widen a bit as I quickly tip toed to Norman and hug him from behind with my chin resting on top of his head.
"I love you too Norman. You'll NEVER lose me, I know you're afraid and want revenge but know I'll always be by your side no matter what ok?"
He gasped and grabbed my hands. I nuzzled my face into his soft hair which made me receive a chuckle from Norman.
"I'll let you know if I do get hurt, I can also get you info if you want. So are we good now?"
He nodded and I let go, jumping over the couch and sitting next to him and wrapping my tail around him.
"We'll always be together, babe." I said as we kissed
Then as we pulled away, we went upstairs and got ready (no nothing interesting happened then) and when we were ready I heard the doorbell. I knew who it was.
"I got it!" I yelled as I ran up to the door.
I opened it to see Emma, Don, and Gilda.
"Hey idiots come on in." I greeted them with a smirk
They pretended to look a bit offended but then instantly had a serious face as they followed me to the living room where Norman was.
"Hi Norman! What are you doing here?" Gilda asked
"Oh yeah, I stayed here for the night cause I wanted too!" he said with a fake smile
I glared at him to let him know to drop the act but he didn't.
"Anyways, what did you want to tell us Ray?" Don asked
"Yeah tell us!" Emma said
I sighed and walked over to Norman and we held hands. Then we gave glances to each other and smiled while I smirked.
"We're dating!" we both said
The 3 of them were excited and squealing.
"OMG OMG OMG OMG, you're dating!!!!!" Emma yelled
"Congrats you 2!" Don said
"Congratulations Ray and Norman!" Gilda yelled
Me and Norman looked at each other and smiled but then as I looked back at my happy friends, my smile went to a frown.
"But I have something to tell you guys, Norman already knows." I said letting go of Norman's hand and taking a few steps forward.
They all turned to me a bit concerned and confused as I sighed and said my lie.
"Remember how we got our results a few days ago and I ran off?"
They nodded and I continued.
"Well that was cause something happened in the bathroom and I'm a Omega." I said pulling my collar to show my fake Omega mark which looks real.
"Ray.....I'm sorry you had to become a Omega and what happened in the bathroom?" Emma said hugging me
"I was threatened by the assassin so now I have to help them but I can defend myself." I explained and hugged back with a smirk on my face.
"If you get hurt then I'll beat the crap out of that guy!" Emma said pulling away
"Heh thanks but I got my own defense." I said ruffling Emma's hair.
"Hey! Ray!"
I had a small smile on my face as Don and Gilda agreed with Emma and laughed. Eventually, they'll be gone when they know what I've done.

Norman's pov:
Everyone was laughing at how Ray ruffled Emma's hair and I felt a bit of jealousy but we're friends and Ray is friends with her as well. I tried my best not to show and thought I could get their help to possibly take out the assassin.
"Guys, I also have something to tell."
Everyone went into silence as they turned to me. Ray was the only one who had a idea on what I was gonna say.
"I'm trying to take down the assassin and since Ray is forced to work with him, I'm able to get the information to stop him from killing more people. I was wondering if any of you wanted to join."
Emma, Gilda, and Don had a smile on their faces and agreed to help. I wasn't really expecting them to agree but they said that they already killed many people so we needed to stop them. Ray had a small smile on his face but his eyes told me something else. Ray, what are you hiding now?
"Well if you guys want your info, you know who to call." Ray said with a smirk and confidence in his eyes.
We al nodded and Ray explained to the others what he told me earlier as we decided to have lunch. Ray cooked before they came so we were eating and talking.
"So you're saying he's been playing the Robin Hood role recently?" Don asked
Ray nodded and took a sip of his coffee.
"Hmm, he might be like that for now but we'll have to do something at some point." Gilda said
"Yeah but we should wait till I get more info, plus I'm forced to help him and I have no idea how long this will go on for." Ray said
"I agree, we should wait till after you get more info. Only then we can probably start planning but in the meantime let's just have fun and hangout!" I said to which everyone nodded

Ray's pov:
Wow, everyone's going after well me. I didn't know honestly if they would agree but now I have to be on high alert. I'm gonna have to fake a few things to make it look like I'm not the assassin and I need to give some fake info. Since I'll know their plan, I can stop them and reveal that I'm the assassin. Boy this will ruin my relationships with everyone but let's hope it least a for a while. I don't want to lose them but I have no choice but to go through this. What did I get myself into?
