This one shot is going to be a switch of POVs

Sam's POV

I was in geography with Miss Briggs. My head was on the desk and I was so tired I almost fell asleep. But then all of a sudden I heard a big loud boom in the distance. I got my head up off the desk and looked around. I saw Freddie staring at me. I mouthed to him what the the problem was and he mouthed back. 'i think it's a storm.' 

WHAT A STORM? NO NO NO NO NOOO. I hate storms and lightning and thunder and anything that has to do with extreme weather. I looked at him horrified and he stared back at me concerned. 

All of a sudden everyone paid attention to the school speakers. All I heard now was the sound of Mr Franklin's voice booming over the loud speakers. "hello fellow students of ridgeway. Its announced we have a serious storm heading for Seattle. It is now informed that all schools should be shut down. Meaning all of you students are going to be trapped in the school for a few days once the storm has settled. We have let your parents know about the situation and have gotten comments back most of which are negative and selfish about this situation. Anyways the cafeteria will provide food and drink and you don't have to go to any classes whatsoever. But for your safety can everyone please just hide under your desks and we will announce over the speakers when you can get out. Thanks for listening. "

Ok you have got to be kidding me. We were being trapped in this hellhole. Ughh I felt like I was in juvie all over again. Damn I'm not doing so well right now. I hid under my desk and grabbed my bag along with me. I peeped out and met carly eyes. She looked terrified. Everyone did, even I was. I then looked over at Freddie who I relaizsed had his eyes fixed on me for some time. He quickly looked away acting as if he wasn't watching me just then. I looked down and smiled and then felt my cheeks getting hotter. What's happening to me. I grabbed my mirror from my pocket and looked in it. I was BLUSHING. noooo I can't be. Stupid Sam stop blushing. I was talking to myself to make myself stop acting like an idiot but everyone gasped and looked at the windows. My head turned and looked too. 

Freddie POV

We all turned to look outside. The wind had got heavier and the trees were blowing like mad. Thunder boomed in the distanced and I heard a little yelp. I looked back and saw Sam horrified. Tears were filling her beautiful eyes and she was crouched underneath the table like a little kid crying because they're scared of the dark.

 I looked back outside and saw half the trees leaves were gone. They flew away and entered their death. I know what a stupid thing to say. I just felt like saying it don't judge me. The sky got darker and rain poured while thunder roared. Lightning struck and the rain got heavier. Trees were losing their leaves and one tree almost got knocked over because of how bad the wind is. 

20 minutes of us all sitting uncomfortably under our desks the storm died out a little just enough for us to be safe for a while. Mr Franklin's voice erupted over the loud speakers. "OK so the storm has died down a little but no one is to leave the school until safe to do so. You can all get out from under the desks and wander around until it is necessary for you guys to go into safety once more. There is food and drinks ready in the cafeteria and also there are things in the hall you can get to keep yourselves safe. To make sure no one tries to escape the school, we have locked all doors and placed extra teachers in front of every doorway to make sure no one leaves. We will announce the times of safety in a while when the storm is heavier an dangerous. Hope you guys are safe and make sure you are consuming enough food. Also the sleeping arrangements for tonight will also be announced just an hour before 10:00pm so that's...... Ah yes we will announce it at 9:00pm. Well make sure to stay indoors. Thank you ridgeway.
